Dr Schooley is caring and empathetic with a good bedside manner!??

DON'T ever let this man near you with a knife!!! He left me to die! He left 52 inches of gauze inside me and sent me home! I got MRSA & ECOLI!!! HE CUT TGROUGH THE MESH FROM MY HERNIA SURGERY TO DO MY BACK SURGERY! Now I stay sick all the time and no Dr or hospital will touch me within lifeflight distance of Centennial Hospital. The Dr's say Dr Schooley left me as a major liability and after what he has done to me, I will never survive any other abdominal surgery!!! He has took my life away from me!! They need to take his license!!!!

Dr. Schooley has been my doctor since 2016. He has helped me through many issues with my spine. I have never had a more caring doctor. I had issues with my insurance not wanting to cover procedures that were needed and he fought for me. I witnessed him become visibly very upset because the insurance was willing to let me stay in unnecessary pain rather than cover the procedure. He continued to fight for me until the insurance agreed to allow me to have the procedure. I have never had a doctor that actually talked to you and showed he really was listening to what was going on with you and genuinely cared. I gave only 4 stars because of the office lady that schedules appointments for outpatient procedures and tests. She never returned phone calls. She had a bad habit of not checking where my insurance would cover before scheduling appointments. More than once I had to find places my insurance covered and schedule them myself and call and leave her a message so she knew what was happening. Aside from her my experience was as great as it could be considering the situation.

I can't help but feel the pain, for now it's from lower spine, taking the pain up into the neck, and Chronic Migraines are excruciating. I am in so much pain. Please rework this issue for me. I can only sit up 15 minutes per time. I am not able to drive anymore. Can't lift, can't ride in vehicle. My life is drastically changed in the past 4 years. Dr. William R Schooley~ I'm in need of you very bad. Please contact me to see if there is anything you can do to help me. This is affecting myself from working, family and friends are so concerned for my spurs are really getting unbearable in my neck. You mentioned in about 3 years I would be in need of neck surgery... The girl that is supposed to call you with appointments at other facilities NEVER calls you. After you wait for days you end up calling her just to leave a message that never gets returned. This has happened three times. She doesn’t send the order to the other facility so you end up calling and getting someone else in the office to do it because your appointment has been cancelled. This is extremely frustrating when someone has to take off work to drive you only to have the appointment cancelled because the office didn’t do their job. When you call it’s rare to get someone. When you call a doctors office you expect someone to answer the phone.

My BIGGEST PROBLEM with this office is that you can NEVER reach them by phone when necessary!!! Surgery arrival time confirmation for tomorrow? They’re busy... leave a message! No excuse for this! Hire a designated person for the phone!!! Patients should always be able to reach their Dr.’s office during regular business hours! Important messages have been left and calls NEVER returned! This is unacceptable! This is an extension of patient care & it is CONSISTENTLY a problem. Something needs to be done about it immediately.

He and his staff have lied to me 6 time over a 3 week period. The latest lie was sending me to get a CT scan without ever sending a referral to Healthspring. IT WAS A TOTAL WASTE OF MY DAY. Plus they haven't set up a pain clinic appointment when they were supposed to. They have a total disregard for their patients and are incompetent. There is no way I would let this doctor operate on my neck. A total waste of 6 weeks

I SAW DR SCHOOLEY IN OR ABOUT 2000, ABOUT MY BACK & MY NECK, HE EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO FIRST & IF THAT COURSE OF TREATMENT DIDN’T WORK, WE WOULD HAVE TO LOOK AT AN ALTERNATE COURSE OF TREATMENT. HE WOUND UP HAVING TO DO 4BACK SURGERIES, & 2 NECK SURGERIES. HE WAS VERY HONEST & UP FRONT ABOUT EVERYTHING. HE TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A 50/50 CHANCE IT WOULD HELP ME. I THINK HE’S A GREAT DOCTOR & WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND HIM TO ANYBODY.

Dr. William Schooley is a great doctor and a very nice individual. I have been going to Dr. Schooley since January of 1998. I was so thankful to have Dr. Schooley as my doctor because he never gave up on me. I had several operation on my head because of brain tumor and I have a shunt. Once the shunt starting removing to extra fluid I had on the brain, things started to get better and I do have great respect for Dr. William Schooley and his staff. Dr. Schooley is a great doctor.

Got me through 7 operations over the past 9 years. Condition is very greatly improved after surgery than before. Highly recommend.
