Dr Moore refused to send records after request by specialist.
She's been my doctor for several years. I really like her.
I really thought I would like this doctor because she does listen to you.. but apparently not for long. I have major back problems (degenerative lumbar spine disease). I was looking for a new primary care so I came here. Even though there were no frills (no electronic payments, no online medical info, no specialty machines etc, not a good location, took 2 months to get an appt). After doing a “mandatory” women’s exam for all new patients, she wrote me a prescription for Flexeril. You know, the very mild muscle relaxer.. she gave me two weeks worth and told me I had to come back to see how I was doing with it. The first time I complied and went back to see her. It was a useless appt where she confirmed the pills were working, the dosage and then she sent it the prescription. This appt cost me $130 (after insurance), not to mention the huge PITA it is to find a babysitter in the middle of the day with all this Covid stuff going on. Even though she wrote the prescription, she didn’t give me any refills. When I called back to have her give me a refill I got another “she wants to see you first”. Am I supposed to go back every month just to get refills? Drop $130 just so I can get my meds. It should be illegal to withhold someone’s meds unless you give them more money. When I asked the nurse why she needed to see me and explained to her that it costs me $130 to come in every time, she gave me “I’m just the messenger”. Such BS. Sorry if I sound cranky. I haven’t slept in days because I don’t have my meds. I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention that I also went in for a breast exam (Dr. Moore ordered it), they found something, it took me 3 months to get my results from LeConte and my supposed primary care has yet to call and even confirm the results with me. So not very good follow up with test results either.
Dr. Moore is very experienced and caring. She always takes time to listen to her patients and provides excellent treatment. I am thankful she is my doctor!
Dr. Moore really listens to people and speaks to them. Not at them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
