dr.richardson is always friendly and asks a lot of questions and knows all about her patients.she and dr.owens added years to my life with the quadruple bypass surgery.i willl miss her.the last visit i made there my appointment for tests had no credit written on it and neg-his.i can only pay so much from ss.shes the best and i just love her.
Spends less than 5 mins in consultation after suffering chest pains for a few months. Sends you for expensive tests and gets the receptionist to call you with results which kinda goes like “hey, your tests looked great so keep up the good work and call us if the situation doesn’t change”. Meanwhile, I’m sure nothing too serious but written report says 2 mild leaking valves. I’d have liked for a follow up visit to be at least explained what the repercussions are if any.
I believe Dr Richardson is the reason my mom nearly lost two toes. She saw her for a heart angioplasty surgery. A couple of days later, two toes were blue and numb. She had a massive blood clot in her femoral artery in her leg where they went in for the angio. The Dr. could not have been less compassionate or attentive after this. My mom ended up having 3 major surgeries in the space of a couple weeks due to all of this. Beware.
Dr Richardson is the reason my mom nearly lost two toes after a surgery. She operated on her for a heart angioplasty. My mom's leg and foot started to go numb a day or two after, and two toes turned blue. This is because of the femoral artery in the leg used for the angioplasty. When the Dr was contacted about this, she just passed mom on to someone else and offered no assistance or apology. My mom ended up having 3 major surgeries inside of a couple of weeks due to this. Awful.
Did not see her
My first appointment with her went well, I thought. We decided to get the chart notes from a doctor that previously treated my varicose veins. Her office was suppose to call me after she got the notes and reviewed them. Two weeks past and no call was received. I called her office and asked if they had gotten the chart notes. They acted like they did not know what I was talking about. I explained what was discussed at my appointment and was told there was no notation about that. I said if I give you the information again will you call, get the chart notes, show them to Dr. Richardson, and call me with what she wants to do next. I was told she would. I gave her the other doctor's name, address, and phone number. We were never called. Makes me wonder if they did not want to deal with me because of Medicare. They did respond quickly when I left as to how much money I owed for the visit. I paid them in cash. Very disappointed, still having pain, and time wasted.
Dr. Richardson was not attentive to my needs. I was brought back to the examining room promptly, but waited an hour to see the doctor. I felt like my concerns were not addressed. She was dismissive.
An excellent physician with an excellent staff.
Your staff doing my test were excellent . Very nice. Please let them know how much this is apperciat
Very impressed with Dr Richardson and her staff. I was a bit intimidated by needing to see a cardiologist but everybody at the Heart and Vascular Institute made me feel at ease. Wanda, at reception, always remembers my name. The ladies who did my stress test and my echocardiogram were very friendly and engaging, which is important to me when having such critical tests. Dr Richardson was very easy going as well, and was quick to reassure me that my problem was not a serious one. I'd absolutely recommend Dr Richardson to anybody who needs to see a cardiologist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
