Dr. Fehey helped me with an injury to my hand. In recognizing I had chronic fusion of the thumb joints that were already causing pain and receiving no help or recommendation from other physicians, he was able to help me. I am so encouraged and enjoy the staff also.

Dr. Fahey listened to my history without being rushed. He focused on the reason for my visit(clavicle fracture). He covered all of the bases before determining non-surgical treatment was the best option. I have a return appointment in a week which made feel like he would be monitoring progress closely. I felt like he cared about what was best for my injury based on standards and taking my individual health issues into consideration.

I would highly recommend Dr Fahey. I enjoyed his professionalism and his bedside manner. He discussed everything with me and answered all of my questions before I made the decision to have carpal tunnel release surgery performed by him. I never felt rushed, and the surgery/recovery has gone very well. His staff is knowledgeable, and responds to calls in a timely fashion.

When I first visited Orthosouth for my wrists, I only wanted to see a woman, preferably a woman of color and that’s what I had in Dr. Fahey’s assistant. She was patient and invested in my care, at first. My next 2 visits were with Dr. Fahey and her and my experience changed. Like most white male doctors, he was talking fast and pushing the process along. They both rushed through and out of my last appointment after I paid to see them again for an office visit that could have been a phone call or upload to my client portal (it was just test results and a suggestion to see another type of doctor). I’m very disappointed.

I felt welcome when I walked in the door,from the front desk,the nurses,radiologist and Dr.Fahey made me feel like I was definitely in the right place,he told me his credentials and he also listens to his patients.Dr.Fahey made me feel at home,he is very informative and he explains the different options for each procedure that is available for me as the patient.I will definitely recommend him to everybody that needs a good Ortho doctor that specializes in hands and wrists.
