I'm a throat cancer survivor and Dr Shires has been my been my primary Oncologist since 2017. I cannot put into words just how amazing she is. She along with her team saved my life and I'll be forever thankful. She is engaging with me and my family and always listens carefully to whatever we have to say. She thoroughly explains everything to me in a way I'm able to understand and answers all my questions. Her and her staff are very, friendly, and they make us feel welcome and cared for and treat us like family. I highly recommend her!!!

My visit there wasn’t long at allThe nurse that took my temperature was so sweet and my doctor Courtney oh my god she was absolutely amazing I just love her, she make sure you understand everything that’s going on with you she’s just amazing I’ll love to see her anytime I come there, everyone there was so nice I felt right at homeMay God continue to bless everyone🙏🏾.

Dr Courtney Shires is thorough, compassionate and trustworthy.She takes her time with you, never making you feel as though YOU aren't her priority.I have been a patient, of hers, for 5 years and can not recommend her highly enough. She, quite simply, is the best!

Dr. Shires saved my mom’s life. She is reassuring, kind, and humble. She visited my mom often during her 18-day ICU pot-surgery stay, never let us get distracted by setbacks, visited mom on Sunday’s, on Mother’s Day, and held her hand often. At mom’s final followup visit, even with Covid regulations, Dr. Shires hugged my mom, held her hand, and spent a long leisurely visit with us. Mom is cancer-free! Dr. Shires’s skill as a surgeon is legendary in our Memphis area. If you are blessed or lucky enough to get to be her patient, then grab it!
