Would give zero stars if possible! This man nearly killed my father!!!! After a major surgery his blood pressure and heart rate was a little high because he was in a lot of pain. His heart rate and blood pressure are normally low. 110/60 average BP and 70 average HR. This idiot put him on 3 BP meds and a heart medicine to slow down his heart rate and sent him home with all of that. Needless to say about a w week later he ended up back in the hospital very close to death! This man should have his license pulled immediately!
Dr. Salazar has always been concern and polite cardiologist since I began seeing him In August 2011 to presence. He is concern about patients overall health condition. He asks many questions to find medical answers. He ordered all heart tests to determine that my heart is fine. He understood my EKG and that I was not having a heart attack, although it look like I am. My EKG looks like a heart attack from the bottom of my heart. He was the only doctor able to pin point that reading. Doctor had admitting me in the hospital and sent me to emergency rooms for years. I have right chest pain that does not have anything to do with my heart. I could not ask for a better doctor. I have left messages requesting that he call me, he returned my calls. Thanks Dr. Salazar for being so compassionate.
Excellent
Very informative, takes time with patients to explain their issues. A doctor with old fashioned morals and values.
Terrible. I went to Dr. Salazar was extreme shortness of breath. He told me he was going to do a test. That would tell him if I Had a actual heart issue, or I was just fat and lazy. Needless to say I broke my confidence in doctors. I’m still suffering with shortness of breath. While I was in the examination room he just acted like I was beneath him, and he would rather been anywhere else but in there talking to me This guy is a joke.
Dr. SALAZAR is a physician who gives his patients 110%. He has is so caring and concerned with the well being of his patients healthcare needs, he answers questions and explains in a very understanding manner. I feel privileged to be his patient.
Dr. Salazar, the cardiologist, is the worst!!! Extremely rude and disrespectful. Not caring at all. He acts like he is soooo busy that he can't even help an admitted patient who is bleeding! If you want to be treated like a decent human being, this is NOT the doctor to go to. You seriously might not even make it out alive. That may sound dramatic, but if you go to this doctor, you truly will see the risk you are taking by putting your health into his hands.
He leaves no stone unturned when diagnosing and prescribing to remedy a cardiovascular issue. He is a very caring physician; listens to his patients; and never makes me feel rushed. I would definitely recommend Dr. Salazar to anyone who is seeking a cardiologist.
Dr Salazar is a good cardiologist and has taken care of my husband, when our daughter developed a heart condition resulting in many trips to the ER I felt that surely Dr Salazar would take care of our family as I thought he took my families care seriously. After calling for 3 days and told they would see if he could fit us in, I never got called with an apt and was told it may be a month wait!! Called to ask to see another Dr, anyone at Stern. Left many messages on the recorder, and never received a call back. Stern Cardiovascular has gotten to big for their britches and the care of their patients and family are suffering. Very hurt and disappointed and don't know what to do about my daughter but call every doctor I can and beg them to see her.
I've been seeing Dr. Salazar for about 7 years now. He is wonderful and I find that he is very concerned and blunt about what he thinks is the best form of treatment. I have done recommended him to several people who feel the same way I do. My health over these years has improved immensely.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
