List of Matthew R Lyons's Reviews
I always felt like Dr. Lyons was blowing me off whenever I went to see him. No matter what the test would say he would always minimize it. Telling me that it was normal or nothing to worry about. Even telling me once that he had the same chest pain occasionally and it was normal. But I still felt like something was wrong and the pain were becoming more frequent and getting worse. One day it was so bad I decided to go to the emergency room. I was admitted to the hospital. After a cat scan, I was taken to surgery and eight ounces of fluid was pumped off my heart. I was in critical care.
I would never recommend Lyons to anyone. You won’t even see him even after you get a result from an annually heart scan.. only his nurses. You only see him in your first couple visits. If your appointment date is there and the nurse is not, then you’ll out of luck because he is there either!
My mom became dr. Lyons patient after an ER visit because of her heart 2 years ago. We saw dr Lyons for the first 2 visits and never even see a glimpse of him again. We just see the nurse for check-ups and I’ve asked before how long do she have to go to check-ups and the answer was basically forever. Even after her heart is getting back to normal. Every visit, it’s the same things; check her medications ...
I’ve been a patient of Dr Lyons for a few years. He is available between visits, he is very knowledgeable and cares about his patients

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
