I was recommended to Dr. Ellis in 2018 for the first surgery I had with him. Due to his exceptional bedside manner, background, communication, and surgical skills, I used him for two subsequent surgeries. This included one in December of 2021, which was a highly complicated and invasive procedure. He nailed it. I am so grateful. Dr. Ellis is not only knowledgeable and personable, he is quick to advocate and defend his patients in the name of getting things done right the first time. He does not solely rely on "data." He pays attention and goes beyond the textbook. It is this sort of strategy, experience, and wherewithal that benefitted me when the diagnostics were wrong. He clearly is not in this profession just for money. He loves what he does, and it shows. I highly recommend anyone to consult with Dr. Ellis for any impending surgery. You will not regret the choice. I can't say enough good things!

Dr. Ellis is the first doctor that has ever explained to me the process of my surgery itself. Answers any questions and explains in detail. I would recommend everyone who needs surgery to contact his office. Very remarkable team!

If you ever need a surgeon for ANYTHING, Dr Ellis is your go to. After learning I need a colectomy ,naturally I was terrified from just hearing the term. Dr Ellis drew it out and showed me exactly his plan for removal,answering all my questions with patience.. Happy to say all turned out well. He,his office staff,and surgical team are the best.

I was told I had to reschule a month away after being only 30 minutes late. Not to mention I drove from Whitehaven, took the day off from work and it was raining so I wasn't trying to speed. I had a hard time finding a parking spot when I arrived.... I made sure I sincerely apologized for being late. They didn't care about my apology nor what I had been through, just thought I'd warn you all. Thank God I made it there safe and sound in the rain. I didn't want to reschedule and be seen by someone who's not considerate of a new patient that was referred by my primary care doctor. No thanks.
