List of Castle Dental & Orthodontics's Reviews
after 11 weeks, I still have had no call from corporate and no bottom teeth, they have been paid in full. I have made a complaint with Aetna (still have not received my records from Castle, after requesting them) as well as the board of dentistry, next step malpractice attorney..... Original review. I am writing this review to share my experience with Castle Dental, which has been extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, amounts to patient abandonment. My treatment plan should have been completed by April 2025, and as of today I am still without bottom teeth. My 50th birthday trip to Hawaii had to be cancelled because I was too embarrassed to take photos while missing half my teeth. Throughout this process there have been multiple serious errors and poor decisions by this office, including, but not limited to, a tech throwing away my molds and no one contacting me. I only found out four weeks later when I showed up for a follow‑up appointment. Instead of treating this with urgency, the dentist laughed and dismissed the importance of expediting new molds. The dentist also blamed the front desk staff, who clearly had no idea what was going on. I was also asked to miss work for appointments that turned out not to be needed, costing me time and income. When dentures were finally made, they were too big for my mouth, and I was told everything could be adjusted once the permanent ones arrived, lies. This came across as an attempt to rush my case to closure rather than provide proper care. Because of these issues, I remain without the teeth I was promised, far beyond the original completion date. I went back to talk to the oral surgeon, when he realized I wasn't there for implants, he dismissed me to the waiting room after 30 minutes of waiting to see him, that was the final straw. Then there was the time the dental tech forced the metal molds into my mouth causing immense trauma to my upper lip, after I explained that I needed the youth size molds and she brushed me off. I walked around for over a week with one big cold sore on my upper lip due to the trauma. I have had grace and patience for the last year, that has come to an end. This experience has caused emotional distress, financial loss, and a major impact on my quality of life. Now I have TMJ and seeing a specialist at the end of March, out of pocket for me, but nothing can happen until I get my bottom teeth, so my bite gets better. I hope this review encourages the office to take accountability and improve how patients are treated in the future. After searching, the corporate office is so far removed from the patient experience, there is no corporate contact information for the patient. I am hoping they see this review and someone contacts me. BTW, the dentist I had so much trouble with was magically transferred to another officel
Kiki and Lillian are so supportive and made my experience more comfortable. The Dentist is informative and so easy on you. I have always had a fear of not being numb enough to get work done. He is Amazing and I will be back every appointment! Thank you to everyone there they are like warm friends but very Professional! I give them 5 stars Plus! Trecia
I would recommend NOT coming here and for you to find a way more professional dentist. They charge you a fee before your service to then charge way more after your service, before your insurance even has a chance to kick in and let you know the remaining balance you have left over to pay out of pocket. I had a filing done here that left me with serious nerve pain biting down and it just needed to be redone. I come to my post opp two weeks later to be hounded about $200 when the procedure wasn't even done correctly. They are so money hungry even when you have insurance and complain about people running out on them for payments. That has nothing to do with me! I was thinking I was here for the long haul since my parents started coming and I wanted us all to share the same dentist. I should've listened to my friend that warned me not to come here because they're scammers. I would put negative stars if I could! Even had an amateur nurse scraping the inside of my mouth raw my first visit just to take x-rays! Tell the nurses training must be complete before working with real people because she had no clue what she was doing. Keep reading, it gets worse. I ended up having to come back 3 more times after my first filling! The dentist could not properly correct the filling he had done so I got recommended to their specialist to try to fix his mistake, but not until they ask for more money! $100 to even schedule an appointment to fix what they messed up! The worst business ever and bad karma will get them for messing up peoples teeth and charging them repeatedly to make things worse! This business NEEDS to be shut down and closed immediately!! I can't even chew on one side of my mouth smh. And they don't care, it's pathetically tragic. Lastly, they have no cleaner at the moment and probably other needed staff. It's GIVING GHETTO.
The lady’s in the office are always very nice. The head dentist. I forgot her name but she is African American. This is the Goodletsville location
Very nice staff and get you in and out quickly
Great Dentist good work very nice people!
Very patient and professional.
Went and got my molar extracted the day before thanksgiving and they were so sweet in the office. Unfortunately the dentist didn’t wait until I was fully numb and decided to take it out while I could feel everything. To which he was aware of because he kept having to tell me to breath deep because I was holding my breath from the pain. Now I have HIGH tolerance for pain and even though I kept telling the dentist he brushed it off since I was in “good spirits” which is his staffs words. After he took an hour at drilling, grinding, pushing and pulling finally the tooth (or so I thought) came out he gave me stitches and sent me on my way. He prescribed me no medication for the pain after and told me I’ll be fine. Even after asking several times for something because everything hurt. He denied me yet again. Two days later (still all in pain) noticed bone was pushing through my gums and cutting my tongue. I called the emergency line because that office was closed and the staff was in shock he didn’t prescribe me anything and that I was still in pain. They got me in that day took out the rest of the tooth he left in there and proceeded to grind my jawbone down…ALL WHILE I COULD FEEL IT. I was hysterical in the office and they still didn’t want to give me anything. Finally they gave me a days worth of pain meds. It’s not day three after the second torture and I’m in agony with jawbone exposed and no pain meds in sight. I tried calling the office yet the phone lines aren’t going through. I paid for a years worth of insurance and now I’m debating on talking to a lawyer about my treatment. I’m again the staff is extremely nice but what would be nice is to not be in constant pain. I wish someone would contact me back from the office asap.
Had one of the most gentle cleaning ever. Staff is very caring to me & my fam. Not in business just to make $ but taking care of our health...😁
enjoyed a nice, gentle cleaning from a friendly and pleasant hygienist

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
