List of Karen Briggs's Reviews
Dr. Briggs was very professional and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
After leaving 6 messages with a voice mail AND live people over the course of 2 weeks, no one returned my calls to get a new patient appointment. Would you want that blatant disregard for your needs to be in charge of your health? I sure don't. Not to mention, it's a terrible way to do business.
I have endured anxiety for most of my life and have been misdiagnosed. She did a very thorough history and has prescribed the right medication. She has even called me at home to check on me. So glad I found her!
I took my 74 year old mother to see dr briggs after being referred to a psychiatrist for xanax after cutting her dose from 4mg to 3mg. She has been on this medication for 22 years and began suffering from serious withdrawals symptoms, so we were hoping to get the dose increased back to 4mg. Instead, Dr. Briggs reduced her down to 2 mg, and prescribed a "filler" as well as Trazadone. This was nearly fatal. She needs to educate herself about benzodiazepines and what they do to the body when a person reaches a tolerance or gets cut too quickly and goes into withdrawals. It's too bad doctors don't have to take their own medicine before prescribing it. Instead, they continue to push the "new" medicine so they can get their kickbacks!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
