This service is MUCH more than just finding a home with caregivers. The Staff of Senior Home Transitions listen long and carefully to the family regarding the specific needs of both the client needing a new home and the family who is realizing that they need more help to properly help their loved one. Our family has experienced help and FAST answers, instead of “ sorry you have to wait until we are back from vacation”, someone was always in charge and ready to listen and act until a resolution could be found. The word “Transitions” is honored by this company, the staff are ready, willing and able to continue to help with settling the client into their new home, even after facility contracts are signed. The experienced staff knew ALOT of what we, as the family, WANTED to know, but didn’t know we NEEDED to know. The time the staff spent listening to us and sharing their knowledge helped our minds rest and our hearts find joy in this difficult time in our family’s life. Momma is safe and being cared for in a way we could never have accomplished without Senior Home Transitions. Highly recommended!

I am so thankful for Megan’s service. She helped find the perfect place for my father in spite of his many health issues. Several facilities could not accommodate his health issues and I was losing hope in finding him a place that could take care of him and help him thrive. I am so grateful to Senior Home Transitions and to Megan Naiser for her support in finding an assisted living community for my 83-year-old mother. Unlike other similar services that I encountered, Megan provided tailored, expert assistance that helped us decide on a community that would serve my mother’s needs now and into the future. Megan’s extensive knowledge about communities in our area provided us with several options to consider, taking into account my mother’s current and future needs, travel time from my home, cost, etc. Even though Senior Home Transitions receives fees for referring to certain buildings, they don’t limit their searches to buildings with whom they have fee contracts. They truly work to ensure the best placement for the individual client – even if it means placing the client with a building for which they will not receive a fee. That was unlike any of the other no-cost “senior housing/planning” services I encountered. And while being provided options for communities was helpful, even more valuable was Megan’s expertise, based on her social work training and years of experience. She performed a detailed assessment of my mother and her situation, to understand her functioning and her preferences. She also talked with me extensively to understand my preferences. Using her deep knowledge and experience as a guide, Megan really helped us help us think through the options every step of the way, all with an enormous amount of patience and kindness (I tend to ask a lot of questions, and she always took the time to discuss them 😊). Megan and Senior Home Transitions provided our family with an invaluable service during a very stressful time in our lives. Her assistance helped us to know that we were making the best possible choice for my mother. I’m so deeply grateful for Megan’s expertise and commitment to the client.
