Do not go to this man! He is in a rush and will cause you unnecessary pain. My mother was in a wreck recently and it was found that she needed a biopsy of her thyroid. Because of her injuries from the wreck, she was already in a significant amount of pain. When she went in for her biopsy, Dr. Blount did not wait for the numbing medication to effect and proceeded immediately. He went literally digging around inside her neck, because he missed his target the first time. This was a simple biopsy and her pain was completely unnecessary. A good doctor would have made certain that his patient was numb before he proceeded. Dr. Blount is in a rush, needs to slow down, and put his patients’ safety and comfort first.
