Arrived shortly around 230pm today 101321. Informed them right away that I had no insurance or immediate cash. Once I said that the care instantly changed. I was taken for triage and xrays by 315pm. After that I wasnt even acknowledged. Finally at 545pm was moved from tje main waiting area to a smaller one but STILL left waiting with only one single nurse who took the time to talk to us. Several others poked their heads in but NOT ONE OF THEM bothered to even speak to me or acknowledge that we were there. At 7pm we had enough and left. I told them point blank that I had better not see a bill.Dont get me wrong. I do understand that some serious issues do have to jump the line. But when does a finger cut override a possible spine injury? Oh yeah when an insurance card is held by the finger booboo.Shame on you Ballard Health

Went to orthopedics in December 2020 Was put it physical therapy for 3 months.Had disrupted ACL.endeb up going to watauga orthopedics got a total knee replacement on June 18 doing much better.

Dont know why theres only a 2.1 rating. The er saved my life last week. Cardiologist are top notch er personal are great. Thanks for your expertise

We spent 4 hours in the ER on a bed in the hallway to get xray and CT scan for broken shoulder. Then ER physician sent us home with a copy of the prescription instead of on the tamperresistant paper so that we could not even get that filled for the pain. Even the nurse who checked us in and the billing person came to us and asked why we were still there hours after arriving.

Went to ER on Tuesday at around 230 pm with knee pain due to fall .. long story short I didn’t leave till around 8pm. Was NEVER seen by a physician but they came out to waiting room and asked if I was gonna sign discharge papers??? I was confused and shocked..I was Triagedvitals and history took fairly quickly Xray took around 330 to 400 pm but was literally not seen by anyone else. They finally came back and said I had fractured my knee cap in several places and put me in a brace and sent me home to see surgeon next day . I am a patient person so the waiting I get due to them being so busy with the covid overload but to never be seen and assume that I had been seen and set out in waiting room in pain and worrying about possible covid exposure for almost 6hours is ridiculous.

THE WORST HOSPITAL EVER Not even worth the one star.took my wife in for a possible broken foot sat in a almost empty waiting room for 2 hours before even going to Triage to get a room. ANOTHER 10 HOURS LATER. They put her in a splint an said to consult an orthopedic. Would have been better off driving to Johnson city medical..

The only place youre going when you leave this hospital is the morgue Theyll let you die while they sit there on their iPhones. Needs to be shut down. Find a nonBallad hospital if at all possible
