This is one self centered SOB that overbooked the work day and here I am 3:30 pm waiting for my procedure. This after he tells me I can’t eat from midnight 2 days before the procedure. I am going 40 hrs with no food. Were is his sense of timing and planning. I would look for other options if I was you.

Wish I could have given 5 stars below satisfactory!!! I am having trouble understanding the positive reviews everyone has given this man!!! Everyone I know that has seen him has had to get a second opinion because they weren't satisfied with the treatment and or answers he had given them. I know for a absolute fact that the morning of my procedure, I was having problems, VISIBLE PROBLEMS!!!! Not going into details because it's TMI but long story short, he has his nurse call me with the results and I asked about the condition I was having trouble with which was my main reason for going and she casually says, " all is good. He didn't see any problems smh🧐! Leaves me to wonder if he actually did anything?? My best advice, find another GI Dr!!!

I had a colonoscopy done by Dr. Kretschmar and I was very pleased. He prayed with me before the procedure. All the staff at the hospital was very nice and caring.

He has been motivated to help me eliminate the Barrett's syndrome that was discovered during routine testing. He carterized the area, and reevaluated the area 6 weeks later. His treatment took care of me in such a short time I didn't feel inconvenienced. Now it's time for my regular exam.

For most procedures, he was very good, but he had a very bad day on the last visit and a completely wrong diagnosis was the result. He was pushing the SDA teachings above medical science and I had a lot of pain as a result and had to see someone else to listen and run tests. Chart said everything sounded normal but he never came near me or listened in his stethoscope at all. I was told I would get an explanation from the office manager, but his office never did give one or contact me with how the mistakes were made in his report. My GP said it could be grounds for medicare fraud case. As a Christian, I don't want to drag someone to court. I won't go back and am happy with my new gastroenterologist.

I WOULD NEVER TELL ANYONE TO SEE THIS DOCTOR. HE CAUSED ME A LOT OF TROUBLE TO BE IN THE HOSPOTAL TO FIX WHAT HE DID NOT TAKE CARE OF. I AM STILL HAVING TROUBLE GETTING AROUND AFTER ALL THAT HAS HAPPENED. PLEAS WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY. I SURE DO NOT TRUST HIM AT ALL
