Clary Foote's Online Review Report Card

We started seeing Dr. Foote after our previous doctor was caught in a BIG lie!!! We drove over half an hour to see him in Harriman. There were times we had to wait for a while to be seen, but it was always worth the wait. When my mother died I was extremely sad and hurt. I went to see him and he spent a long period of time talking and listening to me and helped me through a hard very hard time ...

The staff sucks! Clarey gave me diabetes meds (samples), then when the pharmacy called, it was a major c ordeal, and "NEVER" was able to get thescriptf filled until I made another appt to talk to Clarey, but by then my insurance changed, due to my husband's employment. I was diagnosed with diabetes, but could not get my medications bc his nurse is stupid!!!!! I have known Clarey for many years personally, and this situation has burned me to the core. I have had to do without diabetes meds how for 3 months with my sugar being as high as 340!! Clarey loves what he does, but his new'office manager'keeps him away from his patients!! There is "NO” personal conversation with him anymore!!! Very cold and "robotic” office now!!!! Sandi Edwards

Dr. Foote's Office has come a long way! His staff now has finally came together. He is a great doctor and I have numerous health problems and he has addressed every single one. he has also been the only doctor i have seen that has figured out what was going on with me. He did stop until he figured it out. He ordered test after test until a real Diagnosis was found. I was so relieved. His staff always greets me with a smile and kindness. I appreciate everything he has done for me and his staff.

He is very thorough and takes time to listen to you. He not only sees you as a patient, he sees you as a mcdonalds person too. Wonderful physician!

I think the girls that work there now do a great job. They just needed a few months to get into the groove of things. Dr. Foote, I think does a wonderful job. He does seem to rush from time to time, but for the most part I would say he truely cares about his patients.

Dr. Foote is an exceptional MD and I really enjoyed his NEW staff! So much better than the ladies that were there before. Finally, some women with compassion just like him. The new group of ladies are certainly going through a transition but just give them a few months and that place will be spectacular. Personally, I think they are trying their best and the patients should be a lot nicer to them. Dr Foote would not fire his staff of 20 years unless he had very good reason.. from what I hear he had many good reason....dishonesty is a very bad thing... Wonderful MD.. I wouldn't even think of going to anyone else!

They write you medicine and then make you wait for 2 weeks before they authorize it to go through. If it was any old medicine then it would be different, but I was put in the hospital from where they would not call my insurance company and allow it to go through my body shut down from becoming dependant on the medicine and I called EVERY DAY and asked them to please do a PA and the secretaries reply was I'm too busy making apts and I'm only one person, I'll try to get to it next week. Next week! I could have died! All they care about is their money, NOT their patients!!! SHAME ON YOU!

I would not go to him or recommend him to anyone. If I hadn't fought my insurance to get me a second opinion I would be in worse shape than I am now. He diagnosed me wrong and it could have cost me a arm. He said there was nothing wrong with my arm and so when I recieved a second opinion I had to have surgery to correct my issue. Don't go to him.

Doctor Foote is a wonderful man, one of the best people you could ever meet. His staff is exceptional. However, I do believe that the doctor is very nervous and often seems confused. He doesn't read his charts and seems to find it difficult to remember what he is supposed to be checking. I would hate to see him leave the practice. He is caring and genuinely concerned about his patients. He does not prescribe excessively, actually he prefers not to prescribe if it can be avoided. There are definitely issues with his attention span. And the way he walks out in his patients while talking is very unprofessional. He never asks if you have any questions. He doesn't say he is done. He just leaves.

Too many patients overloading a great doctor. Staff is harried and disorganized.
