Good visit with Dr Cruz
Dr Cruz and his staff go over and above each time we visit them. They have compassion for their patients and take the time to listen, answer questions and actually try to figure out what is wrong. I highly recommend this office if your in search of a neurologist.
Very knowledgeable.Hopefully Ill get the answers I need.
I have worked with doctors for 30 years and it hard to impress me. This one knockes my socks off. Through, professional i would give him a 10 out of 10.
Dr. Cruz prescribed me two controlled narcotics simultaneously of the same class! Benzodiazepines. He is really a stupid physician. He prescribed me Ativan and Klonopin, thinking Id try to get them both filled at the same time, violating DEA regulations and being logged on the CSMD. Instead, I am reporting those paper prescriptions (one with refills) to an undisclosed agency. Its he who should be sanctioned, not me! I didnt ask for them. Besides, in Tennessee, you are now allowed to ePrescribe Klonopin and Ativan, but for some reason he chose to give me paper scripts. Now thats tangible evidence.
I was told while in the E.R. to call them as they hold spaces for people who have been to the E.R. and need to be seen soon. I called the office and was told that is not the case and I could have an appointment in March. I was told I could be on a waiting list but still not even sure that happened.
I would not recommend this office to anyone. They constantly are having to reschedule appointments and are very unprofessional with an attitude when you are calling to ask the staff a simple question about your meds. Now they have called and had to reschedule my appointment for over 3 month's later due to the doctor traveling. Well, we see the patients needs are LAST on his mind. Making an epileptic person wait on meds or checkup visits is not very safe for the patient. Just bad all around.
Dr. Cruz is very thorough and take the time to address your concerns. He is easy to understand, no fancy medical language. The office staff is very professional.
For years I have worked with Dr. Cruz and it always amazed me how thorough he is and how detailed his exam and notes are. If you need a neurologist, look no further. Very knowledgeable man and very easy to talk to. You will be well taken care of.
I love the office staff and nurses. They are friendly and professional. Dr. Cruz, is kind, a good listener and very professional in his approach to my on-going care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
