Excellent Experience with Dr. Glover Dr. Glover provides excellent patient care, listens well, is technically very proficient and addresses all concerns and questions that I had.

Great Doc Dr. Glover took the time to explain my issue after cataract surgery and my vision cleared about one month after drops. Fortunately i did not need surgery. But was calm and reassuring.

Office Visit I am so GRATEFUL for Dr. Glover. He repaired my father’s detached retina and I developed new floaters and was scared to death. He saw me as an emergency later that day. Luckily I did not have any tears or detachment and he was so reassuring and made me feel so relieved. Thank you Dr. Glover for everything you’ve done for me and my family!

The worst consult ever Had a consult with Dr Glover for a retina tear. Within the first 2mins, he recommended surgery. Of course, we had multiple questions regarding the procedure and the recovery. After 3-4 questions, he excused himself and left the room without answering a question. After about 5-8mins, he returned to answer two more questions, then abruptly left the room again taking his assistant with him this time. We were left to sit for almost 10 mins before they returned. During which time we discussed if he would be leaving in the middle of the surgery like he does his office visits. When he finally returned, he again stated the need to schedule the surgery ASAP. To which we answered, 'We'll get back to you on that' and left. We contacted another specialist at Nashville Retina and he recommended a series of anti-inflammatory eye drops. After two mths of drops, the tear has healed itself. Dr Glover is a surgery peddler. He acts like he's removing a mole instead of eye surgery.

Just rude Update to our post on 11/16/2023We want to give a huge thank you to Dr Glover for not letting me go the treatment room with my husband. Mike has two types of dementia. See my post from 11/16/2023. We have found an amazing new dr. He had Mikes records from Dr Glover and told us this week that his test shows that Mike only needed shot in his left eye not both eyes. This saves a lot on money. Dr Glover has been putting shots in both eyes for a long time. My husband went to Dr Jay Glover for over two years. He repaired his torn retina. We have been going to Dr Glover for shots in my husband's eyes every 4 to 6 weeks. I have to take him because of the shots and he has two types of dementias. Today I wasn't allowed to go back in the room with him. Dr Glover told my husband that I had been rude to one of his staffs. I don't know who it was. I would never intentionally be rude to someone. I went to the office manager to try to explain to her about Mike and having two types of dementia. I h

My husband went to Dr Jay Glover for over two years. He repaired his torn retina. We have been going to Dr Glover for shots in my husband's eyes every 4 to 6 weeks. I have to take him because of the shots and he has two types of dementias. Today I wasn't allowed to go back in the room with him. Dr Glover told my husband that I had been rude to one of his staffs. I don't know who it was. I would never intentionally be rude to someone. I went to the office manager to try to explain to her about Mike and having two types of dementia. I have to be in the room with him because a lot of times he doesn't know or understand what is correct. I canceled his next appointment. We will be looking for a better dr. This is really sad when this happens and OK Dr. Jay Glover, wouldn't explain to my husband or even see me to find out what the problem is and if it could be fixed. So we are firing Dr. Jay Glover and looking for someone else. Until you are a caregiver of a dementia, patient, you have no idea how hard and sad it is. ??????

Would Never Be My First Choice I've seen this Doctor twice, six months apart and both times he never once looked at my face - I guarantee you he couldn't even tell you what I look like. Both times this Doctor wore a face mask into my room and there were no current establishment rules regarding masks. He either doesn't know the established science or doesn't care, either of which is concerning. I can't recommend him at all. His office staff is excellent though.

Total waste Forced worse than useless mask use. Did nothing/told me nothing my local eye doc hadn't already.

My father has received injections for his macular degeneration from many doctors and in other states as well. Dr. Glover gives the best injections in the state and any other doctor i have seen. Thank you so much to him and his staff for making his visits so efficient and painless
