One of the very few doctors at Hendersonville Hospital ER that gives a crap about listening and taking the best care of his patients! Thank you Dr. Magoun for the brief relief you allowed me!

Was seen in ER at Hendersonville Medical Center by Dr. Magoum in April. On his evaluation I explained why I was in the ER.My gastoenterolgist advised me to goto the ER immediately for specific symptoms which I was experiencing. I was left on a gurney in the hall in extreme pain for hours. I was told it appeared I may have some gas and constipation. I sat while my colon ruptured due to diverticulitis that was explained to Dr. Magoum. I now have a colostomy bag hanging from me. I firmly believe if this physician had listened to me this could have been avoided or at least not have resulted in emergency surgery 2 days later. I was clearly in distress when entering the ER. I do not recommend this health care provider.

I had to take a trip to the ER a few weeks ago and was lucky to have Dr. Magoun treat me. My husband and I were so impressed with him, and since we are new to Tennessee, I would love to have him as my primary physician. Since he was my ER doctor, I'm not sure if he is available to take patients at a clinic. I wish I would have asked him while I was there, but it didn't cross my mind that night. I will do some research and see what I can find out. He was amazing!
