My experience here at this location and with Dr Simkins specifically has been fantastic! She’s very nice, personable and always willing to answer any questions. I just love her and am so thankful for having her for my first full term pregnancy. I’ve had a lot of complications in the past and multiple losses, and am now in the “high risk” age bracket- but she has been awesome helping me deal with all my fears, questions and emotions! The entire staff at Bluegrass has been great! I highly recommend Dr Simkins and Bluegrass!

Having moved here after living in Alabama all my life, it was difficult to change doctors. Dr. Simkins was excellent. She was not in a rush and listened to me.

Dr. Simkins and her staff were very thorough. They listened to all my questions and provided detailed answers for all. I did not feel as though they were rushing me out of the office or just rushing through my appointment. This was especially nice since it was a late afternoon appointment before a holiday weekend. I appreciate feeling like a person when I am in the office, not a number.

Dr. Simkins is friendly, listens to my concerns and addresses every issue I have. She takes time to make me feel as though I matter. Above all that, she is an excellent doctor and surgeon. I trust her as she has helped me with gyn issues that I have had for over 3 years that no one else was able to solve. I would highly recommend Dr. Simkins.

Besides being really sweet and caring, Dr. Kelly Simkins is gentle and down to earth. Shes very knowledgable and talks to you until you completely understand everything she has to say about your health. Im 51 years old and shes the best OB GYN Ive had. Definitely my favorite!

Very rough during pap. Knowledgeable. Left me stranded on a high exam table. It took 10 minutes to get the attention of the staff so I could get down from the table. The step was not pulled out to get down off the table.

The practice Dr. Simkins works in is large, and this can be challenging (in terms of having to see many doctors throughout a pregnancy and speaking with several different nurses on the phone and in the office). But Dr. Simkins is wonderful. She never seems hurried or bothered; is compassionate; and is thorough when answering questions/addressing concerns.
