Just went for my first appointment with Dr. Valentino. Both the doctor and her nurse, Tracy, and the young lady at the front desk were very friendly. Dr. Valentino took her time to explain sleep apnea to me, treatment options, and causes. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who has any sleep issues.

Where is Dr. Valentino practicing now? It's been a year since I've been, but the numbers online all day she is not there anymore. I'd like to continue with her if she is still around.

Dr Valentino is very knowledgeable in Neurology. If she has relinquished all of her knowledgeability what is causing your problem with no success, she knows other resources and has no problem suggestion them

Dr Valentino seems to be knowledgeable but I agree with the other reviewer that her bedside manner is aloof, unconcerned, and preoccupied. She wanted me to get an expensive experimental MRI at Vanderbilt which my insurance wouldn’t pay for. The Parkinson’s Foundation doctors actually recommend against it due to its unreliable results. She told me insurance would pay and Vanderbilt would set it up. NOPE! Vandy said bring thousands in cash they don’t do insurance! I wouldn’t do it! SO DR VALENTINO CHARGED ME FOR AN OFFICE VISIT TO FIRE ME AS A PATIENT! She said she could not continue to treat me if I wouldn’t pay for the latest technology. The regular MRI my insurance pays for suddenly wasn’t enough! So she fired a Parkinson’s patient. That’s how much she cares about her patients after several years and a few thousand dollars. Not very loyal and a real disappointment. The first time in my life I was ever fired. It shook my already shakey world. I loved her but I cannot in good faith recommend a Dr who doesn’t understand the Hippocratic Oath and fires patients who won’t spend thousands on experimental MRIs.
