List of Sundararajan Venkatesh's Reviews
I been coming to this office for more than 4 years and I have no complains ! They care about you and that treat you as family I love them .
My first visit with Dr Venkatesh .Not to happy with him.I was late due to traffic on 109 .I called his office to let him no I was running late .Long story short he came in my room listened to may lungs and heart ask me if I smoked yes stop smoking or dialysis 3 times a week . Never looked at my ultrasound that was sent over he did do blood .I ask him about an alternative to help me stop smoking he said not my field .Ask my family dr .But he made sure I new what to do if I was late again reschedule my appointment cause his next appointment may be upset for waiting I said well let them no I apologize for being late I ran into road closures uuugggg
Couldn’t have been more comfortable with him. Dr. Ven answered my questions , gave me all information and wasn’t rushed . I am so glad I found a friendly Dr. to handle my problems . Wonderful and friendly staff also .
I had a BAD day while in Hospital for something other than Kidney Problems , BECAUSE of Dr. V. He is short and ugly when talking to Patients . Acts as if you should already know why you have a issue . I go see Him because there is No One else in Area !!
Will not recommend, He is rude talks down to patients, vague in information about condition and health. I felt like i was wasting his time for even making an appointment.
I went to this Doctor (Sundararajan Venkatesh) in 2009 the first time. He was new to the area and seemed like an over all good person. He told me that I need IV vit D and that I needed surgery on my Kidneys to help them get better. I told him I would like to go for a second opinion. I chose to go to Vanderbilt. The doctors there said NO NO you don't need anything like this. You do however need to lose weight and learn to take better care of your diabetes. Fast forward.. I had to come back to this doctor due to my insurance. The first thing as he walked into the room was O I See you are back and you need me to help you get better.. I was shocked I was stunned I was like what? I said NO SIR we all have choices to make when it comes to our health. I am here only because Cigna has given you as my Kidney doctor. You and I have a choice to let each other go as doctor and patient. You never have to take care of a patient you don't want to and I never have to stay with a doctor I do not feel I can be safe with. You as a Patient need to think for yourself on what is important for your health. You only get one chance in life to have YOUR own Kidneys and keep them well. If you want to come to this Doctor then do and see for your self why the reviews are as they written. At this point I am looking for Cigna to help me find someone that I can trust with my Kidney Health. I also see why the doctor does not want me as a Patient. I went some other place that took the time to really look at my kidneys (I'm stage 4) and help me with keeping them longer and try to keep them healthy. So it's your choice on who you see and what you think.. This is just my feeling .. I wish you the very best in your quest to find what is BEST FOR YOU !!!
I feel like a customer, rather than a patient. Explanations of my condition are lacking, even when pressed for information. I don't expect a prediction of the future, just some indication of what I may expect in the future. All I get is the comment, "I think we can keep you out of dialysis". Main empasis is in chemical balance which is, of course, necessary. But communications skills are lacking. Office staff seem to be working for 8 hours; not much fun or interchange among them.
Will never go back. He was very abrupt. I don't think he wants to talk to women. Does not listen.gives short no compassionate answers. My husband was in hospital and he came his room chewed him out and told him to tell his wife to stop calling his office
In-patient familiarity. Manner did not reflect ethical conduct, professionalism or respect for patient privacy , patient dignity, or patient rights.
Would not take my DOG to him!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
