I would not even let my dog live there. the best part of that facility is the former chef Tim they screwed him over for a person that was a friend of the ED. they had a lady named Kay fall that they lied about because a wet floor signwas not up and then lied about where she fell to cover their ass. I would never recommend them to anyone that needs care. I worked there. I know they don't give a crap about the residents

What a wonderful community! I had the joy of attending a SPARK program there today. It was a blast. This community has so much going for them. Amazing residents, superb staff, beautiful apartments (Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living Villas). I love the layout of the community. The chef was celebrating his birthday today and treated us to an awesome pasta bar. Donna gave me a wonderful tour. It was so nice to see the centralized courtyard. I am a nature lover and could see spending my mornings there with a nice cup of coffee. Great job! You really made me feel welcome. I will be recommending your community.

Very clean place and friendly people that works there

We have recently moved our 101 year old grandmother here and could not be more impressed. My grandmother did not want to move at all, but they have worked very hard to make her happy and comfortable. She told me today how nice everyone is and that’s she’s never lonely. They have gone above and beyond giving her special attention that she needed. The facility is bright and clean. Her apartment is roomy and even has a little fenced porch. And every person we encounter has been caring and helpful. It has been so peaceful knowing that she’s in good hands.

I am very anxious to move my mom here from another facility, as Charter seems to have a much more logical approach. In addition, they are so much smaller than most other communities, which does make a difference. On our tour with the FABULOUS Donna, we learned that even in the "little things", Charter stands out: lanyards, laundry, etc. are simplified where many other communities price gouge on such essentials. Moving is not a simple thing for us due to brain injury and confusion, but I'm positive that Charter is where we will go if and when we can make it happen.

Charter is the best. Mom has been there for several years and is happy. She loves her friends there. They have great activities, she loves her bingo and music!! Thank goodness for Donna. She has been a lifesaver for this family. She works hard and so helpful. They have a new Director, Andrea who is amazing and just what Charter needs. Have they had issues in the past? Certainly as any facility but I never felt my Mom was not being loved and cared for. Their crew is great. Anyone leaving a terrible review, I would consider the back story. This place is perfect for my 95 year old mother. She had prospered, even with dementia. Thank you to Andrea, Donna and team for keeping me updated and informed of happenings. I am 500 miles away and they make sure I know what is going on. Even Angie will FaceTime me with her often. Check them out. They are the best.

This is the nicest facility that our family has visited. We look forward to using them for Respite Care in the future. The staff truly cares about their residents and their thought, care, and flexibility to manage and help their residents live the fullest life is something that can make you emotional in a good way, because you know that if you are in a situation where a lived one can no longer stay at their own home, that they will find a new home at Charter. Thank you to Andrea (director of nursing) and Donna (director) dor all you do and all the love you have for the families and residents you look after.
