Lee Swiderek's Online Review Report Card

I had hip replacement surgery on my left hip on September 8, 2022. Dr. Lee Swiderik was amazing! Everything he told me that was going to happen for the good, happened for the good! I highly recommend him if you are considering having any surgeries for hip or knee. He and his PA (Sydney)are awesome and after two weeks of my surgery I am only walking with a cane and I could actually walk on my own if I really wanted to. I just want to thank Dr Lee for doing such an excellent job. I am 68 years old and I feel great! Just be sure to follow the orders you are given. 5 stars all the way!

I had rapidly progressive osteoarthritus of both hips. I was 59 and live alone. I was in a lot of pain and had started walking on crutches. It hurt to walk, sit, and lay down. The pain was so high that I could not focus to even do computer work. Dr Swiderek diagnosed me and scheduled my first surgery 6 weeks later followed by the second 6 weeks after. The process at Tristar Summit was a breeze and the staff at both AOS and the hospital were friendly and helpful. The surgeries and therapy were successful. Two weeks after the second surgery I was walking without a walker. Six weeks later I was mostly out of pain. One year later I am totally healed, have no pain, and my range of motion is as good as before it all began. I highly recommend Dr Swidereck for hip replacement surgery and am very grateful to him and his staff for restoring my health!

Dr. Swiderek and team are the best! I had two knee replacements recently and received wonderful care. The pre-op classes, caring phone support, PT team and surgery team were key to my quick and (soon) full recovery. I haven’t felt or walked this great in years!

My mom had knee replacement in 2018 by Dr. Christopher Cook. He did an outstanding job and she had a great recovery. Unfortunately, last year she had a horrific fall and landed on that knee which caused her femur to break, actually splintering the bone. Dr. Lee Swiderek stepped in and did her revision surgery — a distal femoral replacement. At age 85, we were afraid she would never walk again… but yesterday, we went back for a one year followup. Mom walked in on her own with just the use of a cane. Dr. Swiderek said the surgery was holding up and things looked great! We couldn’t have asked for a kinder, more concerned, skilled and caring doctor. Our team at AOS has been amazing!

I was ejected from my car, MANY years ago. I haven't been able to walk without pain, for the past 10-15 years. I met Dr. Swiderek in May. He replaced my knee on July 29th. It was a long 3 months, with allot of PT. I can't thank Dr. Swiderek enough for everything he has done for me. He gave me back, not only, my ability to walk like a normal person, but my quality of LIFE! Thanks again, Dr. Swiderek! I love you for what you did for me! I would recommend you to anyone. Dr. Swiderek and his team exceeded my expectations. There were no surprises - I was informed. He will replace my right knee soon!

I was referred to Dr Swiderek after having issues with 2 previous knee replacements on the same knee. He quickly identified the problem, scheduled surgery and fixed the issue. For the first time in many years I’m pain free! His professionalism and expertise in knee reconstruction is second to none. I’d highly recommend him to anyone who is having issues with a previous knee replacement.

If I had to have knee surgery or anyone in my family needed knee surgery - Dr. Lee Swiderek would be the surgeon. When we first met him, he came in and sat down with us and talked... then took me across a hall for x-rays. VERY EFFICIENT and did not send us out to another location and no hassles. Came back and started showing us on his laptop what he saw and then why he had the recommendation for a total knee replacement. Dr. Swiderek sat and talked and answered all our questions without a sense of being rushed or that our questions were irrelevant. Surgery was set and a class was conducted for us. Sidney his assistant was amazing! She was just like Dr. Swiderek - she was ready to help and answer questions. She provided her direct line so we could get to her quickly. She was so helpful and people-focused. Surgery went as planned and I was already scheduled for therapy. My therapist raved how fluid and easy my knee moved and how well the surgery had gone. Dr. Swiderek's skill made my therapy easier. I highly recommend Dr. Swiderek and Sidney! Oh ... talking about making things easier for people - there is complimentary valet parking! And the facility is located in an area not far from I-40 and NOT in crazy traffic!

Dr. Swiderek explained thoroughly the necessary surgery my wife required. Because my wife has small bones, we wanted to be sure there wouId be no problem inserting the implant. Dr. Swiderek's explanation of the procedure using X-ray images and multimedia tools eased our concerns. My wife & I are very pleased with the surgery outcome.

I am 82 and had an unusual problem with my test beforehand. Now six weeks after the surgery I have no pain and am back to normal activities.
