I was dealing with a terrible pain in my left front thigh, could hardly walk. Made an appointment with Dr. MacGregor, she reviewed the MRI and determined the problem was the Femoral nerve that was compressed from stenosis. She was able to use Robotics remove some of the cartilage that was causing this compression. What a great job Dr. MacGregor did. No more pain!! Can’t say enough about her and her NP Kelsey. Great staff and all around great experience!

Just a few months after surgery, I had to have another surgeon fix what she messed up.....Beware

Earlier this year I had a terrible pain in my front left thigh when I walked. I was referred to Dr. McGregor by my primary care physician. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The MRI pointed to a compressed Femoral nerve. After having two steroid injections and physical therapy the pain disappeared but returned in a few months. We decided surgery was the next step to create more room for this nerve to move. The surgery was out patient and the process went extremely well. She utilized robotics to insure accuracy in this process. Three weeks later I have no pain in my leg and can walk as far as I would like. I am so grateful for Dr. McGregor, her nurse practitioner Kelsey and the whole staff that made this possible!!

Robotic Spine surgery is the best! I have had previous surgeries with 'mixed' results. This fixed my back and I am enjoying my life again not being confined to my house. So nice to be able to go out again & enjoy experiences with family and friends. Thaank you Dr. Macgregor! Jeorgette Tennessee

I had a cervical fusion by Doctor MacGregor in 2018, fixing my migraines and almost all my arm pain. Now I’m getting ready to have a lumbar fusion by Dr MacGregor. I would trust her with my newborn baby’s neurological surgery, if needed. The practice has also been wonderful as a whole. From the time I walked into her office in 2017 until now, I have always recommended Dr. MacGregor to everyone I know that has a need for a neurosurgeon.

Dr Mac Gregor is a compassionate and talented surgeon and even the staff at Tristar Summit will agree, and that speaks volumes! As I was being wheeled back for my 2 level acdf surgery 3 months ago, the nurse said that she was also a patient of Dr MacGregor and that several staff members had her perform surgery on them! If you want one of the best neurosurgeons in the Nashville area, look no further.

Margaret mcgregor operated on me in 2013 and 2014. In 2013 , I walked in to her clinic thinking I might not even get the surgery. But,,, she talked me into it saying it was necessary. I woke up not being able to stand upright I was in constant pain for a whole year as she lied to me about my procedure I was foolish enough to believe her lies and today, 12/1/21 I'm still in constant pain.

Dr. MacGregor is a stellar person, and a meticulous surgeon. The most important result of my surgery is this: I can walk again. Had Dr. MacGregor not operated on me, I never would walk again. She saved my life. : ) The name of my surgical procedure is mis robotic tlif 2 level.

Dr. Macgregor and her staff are absolutely wonderful. 20 day's after surgery my mom has ZERO pain and is walking unassisted! Feeling very good about this decision, and could not be happier with the outcome!
