denied my experiences suffered at his direction at North memorial medical center. I changed medical offices to avoid another interaction with him and found out that HE had taken a new position at Centracare. He is forbidden to interact with me again but I will probably have to change clinics to avoid him.

Took over 3 months to get an appointment as a new patient, asked to be placed on the cancellation list hoping I might get in sooner. I got a call about a month prior to my appointment and was thrilled. Went to the appointment and he literally spent an hour and almost 45 minutes with me, I thought I had died and went to heaven, finally a doctor that actually listened. We did my blood work, I was being seen for 2 separate issues. Discussed a change in my medication and I told him very specifically that I am the person that doesn't tend to do well on a lot of medications, if there is a side effect, chances are I'm the one that will have an issue. Started on the new medication that day, over the next several days my sugar started dropping, awesome, but I was having some very significant side effects and after a week I contacted the office, I was told he was out but another doctor told me to cut the dose in half and call back in a week... ok seemed reasonable. Side effects started to disappear after a few days, but then started ramping up again. So again after a week of the dose, I contacted the office and asked to speak to the doctor. I was told that the doctors do not talk to the patients. Excuse me what? I'm having rather sever side effects and I can't talk to the doctor... after a couple of conversations back and forth with whomever they transferred me to, I told them you can tell the doctor I will be discontinuing this medication, I was told you can't do that and I told them again I want to talk to the doctor, and was again told I couldn't. Finally they called me back again, still not the doctor and was told fine, go off it for a week and report back. I went off, the side effects disappeared and I called back... to find out about a medication change... that was 2 days ago, I'm still waiting for a call back and my next appointment isn't until the end of next month. So here I sit, still not on the right combination of medications and no return calls from the doctors office... Sorry to say, if this is how they treat their patients, I will be finding a new doctor that has time for you when there is a problem. They also only wrote the medication that I had already been on for a 2 month supply, the only reason I can think of for them to do this is to keep you coming back... good thing I have good insurance, they billed my insurance almost $900 for one office visit and blood work. Very disappointed!

Apparently the office staff that scheduled my appointment months ago has since been fired but they would not see me. I had an appointment scheduled for three months, time off scheduled for three months and because someone working at the office did not input my information into the system I was not seen. They treated me like I was a liar and completely humiliated me. I will never go back there. Unfortunately I will likely run out of my thyroid medication before I can follow up with my primary physician.

I have been a patient of Dr. Paul for over 25 years. Though I see him only once a year, he has consistently provided excellent service.

I have been seeing Dr. Paul for quite a few years now. He is very caring and he always remembers your situation. My only issue is that it is now the end of July, and I can't get a morning appointment until late December. He is always booked for months in advance, so if you happen to have to cancel an appointment, which I just did, you have to wait a long time to get another one, unless you get lucky and snag a cancellation, which isn't impossible to do, but I will have to follow up weekly for this. He is worth the wait though, I wouldn't change thyroid doctors.

I originally went into Dr. Paul for a second opinion about my over active thyroid and he did my radioactive iodine treatment. Now I'm happily regulated and living with my thyroid issues successfully.Dr. Paul is caring, clearly defines his treatment plan and actually treats you - the patient, and not just your bloodwork which was really refreshing to me. Dr. Paul has great bedside manner and will come in shake your hand and then tell you how many patients are in front of you as your waiting to see him. He seems to genuinely remember patients and is empathetic and caring. I HIGHLY recommend him. His staff is really nice too. You may need to warm up to them but they are all pretty great in this office. His partners & interns are also very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Paul is an excellent doctor. He really cares and takes your opinions into view when making health decisions for you. I have been seeing him since I was diagnoised with diabetes and have received top care. I know that I am living with diabetes in the best possible way because of seeing Dr. Paul.
