I had an appointment at 9:15 arrived at the office at 9:00. At 9:45 check with the receptionist she said she would check. At 10:00 a nurse was calling another person. I asked her what the hold up was. She came back and told me it was the receptionist fault. The receptionist didn't put me in until 9:45. The receptionist then apologized and talked to her supervisor. The nurse said that I was late for my appointment. I finally told the receptionist to cancel my appointment because of there was so much confusion I didn't trust them to do their job. Dr Kollipara was the doctor that ordered me to have iron IV. So sad!!
The operators who answers the phones and send messages are very freaking rude and they demand to know why I need to schedule an infusion when I just had one two days ago, or I have an appointment next week, well because I need it and it’s non of your business. I had one operator try to not send a message to scheduling and spent more time arguing with me about it then it would have to send the message. Oh Lordy trying to get med refills and the operator wanting to know every detail. No just send the message. They need to fix this issue and the rudeness of the operators. A lot of times I don’t get called back to schedule an infusion days later. All the nurses are great and so nice and caring! The main problem is trying to get messages to the scheduling people and getting scheduled
Everyone here is so nice!! Staff is wonderful...very clean and efficient office! My whole experience has been wonderful 👏 ☺
This review is not about the doctors at TN Oncology - only the scheduling staff. Absolutely THE worst customer service that I've EVER received from a medical practice. If you have other options, do explore them. Yes, it is a bother to drive into Nashville for a Vanderbilt visit, but I guarantee that you will not be treated so poorly as you probably will be at TN Oncology (Clarksville). People are attempting to get treatment for CANCER, after all. The staff at TN Oncology act as if there's no rush and they couldn't care less.
I had an appointment at this office on the 26 of October, I was unaware that they canceled my appointment due to Dr. Blakey leaving early. So of course I was upset but I told the front desk employee to schedule me for a Friday appointment due to my work schedule, of course she failed to do so and set my appointment for today November 8th. So again I wasn’t able to be seen because this go round I had my children with me. I was even more upset because at this point this is my health they are playing with. Not one time did I use profanity with any of the “workers” nor bad mouth anyone, but I was extremely upset because not only did my appointment get canceled due to the office inconvenience, but because I was scheduled for a day I said wasn’t a good day for me but I went anyway despite having my children. Any who the doctor told the desk that I am no longer allowed to make an appointment and that I needed to find somewhere else to go!! THIS PLACE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL especially when it comes to younger patients! I would NOT recommend anyone to give this office a try! They inconvenienced me twice and basically kicked me to te curve instead of trying they issues they caused!!! NOT TO MENTION THEY LOST MY NEW PATIENT FROMS THAT I GAVE THEM ON THE 26 ( The day they canceled my appointment) …… WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!!!!!!!
Dr. Blakely does not care about her patients one single bit. It's all about the money for this chick. Making sure to cover her own ass instead of actual patient care. When I started at TN oncology I had the amazing fortune of having Dr. Raefsky until his untimely death when I was given this heartless shrew by default. Scheduling has been a massive joke which the lab girls always choose to yell at me like it's my fault the scheduler screwed up AGAIN. There is absolutely Zero reason for a patient to be put in a position where they hear nursing staff degrading other patients. This happened 3 times in the last two years. I should not hear people talking ugly about patients while I'm in a patient room feet away from the nurses station. Once would have been bad enough but 3 times with 3 different nurses is absolutely appalling. To be told out right that will not take any measures at all to keep a patient comfortable simply because the doctor doesn't want to get in trouble for actual patient care is pathetic. It's such a shame so many people are being shuffled into this business. You can no longer call them a healthcare facility. They are not in this to help people. She is very much simply profiting off of cancer & hematology patients. Despicable.
Wonderful staff took great care of me. Would recommend.
Wanted to avoid having to fill out all forms at arrival of appointment day. Asked on 3 separate occasions leading up to appt (believe representative's name was either Tanya or Latoya) to have forms mailed or emailed to me. You would think I was asking for the world.........and of course, she never sent out the forms. Customer service at its' worst.
My mother gets WONDERFUL care here.
Dr. Hemphill- My mother, sister and myself met with Dr. Hemphill yesterday for the first time. We were facing the scariest thing that the 3 of us have ever experienced. My mother within the last 3 weeks went from being perfectly healthy "we thought" to finding a lump in her left armpit, having it removed, being diagnosed with breast cancer, and being told what her options were. Dr. Hemphill, after taking all the time that all 3 of us needed to answer our questions, after making sure that my Mom understood all that was going to be going on the next several months, and making us feel as informed and as comfortable as you can feel in these situations, this man Dr. Hemphill stood up and gave my mother a huge hug and told her she is family now. I can't tell you, as a very protective set of daughters, how much that simple gesture did to make us know that he is the man for the job of saving my mom's life. THANKS DOC YOUR THE GREATEST IN OUR BOOK.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
