The Surgical Clinic's Online Review Report Card

Had a pre op visit with my Dr and pre op testing for upcoming surgery. Every hospital should take notes from Summit. Dr's office was very informative and kind. Then I sign in with concierge. That experience was above and beyond anything medical in my entire life. My concierge was one of the nicest people I have ever encountered and all the pre op appointments and employees are on top of their jobs. Will have to say today was the 1st time I can really say I enjoyed my visit at a hospital!

Well let me start by saying that TriStar Summit can improve first by having a little bit of bedside manners, a clue on how to bill and a the general ability to conduct business. My wife was in the hospital for a Covid-19 vaccine adverse reaction. She had slept for 2 straight days and started vomiting and started getting really bad headaches. We decided to take her to the ER and the Doctors and Nurse's unbelievably rude. Then when we started talking about discharging they were only going to prescribe something for her nausea. When I said, aren't you going to give her something for the headache, they acted like we were drug seekers. Then they went on to bill her $7000 for the 2 hour emergency room. Now they say we owe $2500 for an adverse reaction to a vaccine. Isn't this the thing they are forcing us to take? The worst part of it is that they coded the visit wrong. What a racket, I promise that you would be better going to Vanderbilt or St. Thomas. Good thing they aren't the only option in town

The Out Patient Surgery staff was outstanding, respectful, kind , knowledgeable and so Professional. I am very impressed and grateful to have had my surgery there and by these people. Thank you to every one of these Healthcare Hero’s. Dorothy Forte

I had a lot of tests and procedures done here. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend them for their care.

This hospital ignore a patient 's wife Power of Attorney papers and not only denied her abilities to direct his medical care but also kicked her out of his room for FOUR DAYS! He was not fed nor given IV fluids for several days. The hospital 's CEO met with the wife and she demanded to have him transferred to another facility and he assured the wife that he would meet her requests of giving him Ivertmectin, Vit C, Zinc, etc. BUT the hospital did not do it. This young, father of 3, body builder ,family man died hours after being placed on a ventilator. What is your excuse now, and DO NOT say you were following your medical protocol. YOU FAILED THIS MAN, HIS WIFE AND 3 GIRLS. THE WIFE BEGGED YOU FOR HELP, BUT......... Shame on you!!

Tristar, why did you not obey a patient’s wishes, a POA and the family’s attorney?? You followed a protocol by the CDC that is complete garbage. If I am aware that 75-80% of patients placed on a ventilator, die within days, why aren’t you? If I am aware that Remdesevir causes organ damage and is nowhere close to being the best treatment, why aren’t you? You are in the medical field and should be daily practicing medicine yet you adhere to the same failed protocol from desk doctors?? It is hospitals like you that make people distrust the medical field by the minute. If I were Adam’s wife, I would own you and shut you down. Level the hospital because you all are rotten from the inside out. You are nothing more than a glorified funeral home.

I experienced something today that I have never experienced before, I had an appointment at my cardiologist’s office today at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tn. It started like any other trip to a doctors office, I went in signed in paid my co-pay and answered the COVID questions at the receptionist’s desk, had my temperature taken, it was ( 94.7) then I took a seat in the waiting room, I was wearing a mask even though I have been fully vaccinated, and 20 minutes later I was refused service by one of the staff, she said she appreciated my honesty in answering the COVID questions but they would not be seeing me today, because I had been exposed to someone with Covid three weeks ago, this is utter BS I took all the precautions, I adhered to their guidelines and was still refuse service, is there anything I can do about this, if anyone knows of the protocol for turning this office in and making it known that they can just Willy-Nilly refuse to see people even if they have a mask and are fully vaccinated please let me know, I don’t even want to think about how Centennial Heart would treat someone if they weren’t vaccinated, by the way, the people who had Covid that I was exposed to, had served there time in quarantine and have been back at work for a full week, so that’s a total of 21 days since I was exposed and I have no symptoms or side effects, so be wary it doesn’t matter what you do they and by they I mean Tri-Star Summit and Centennial Heart can still refuse to see you, without any notice or regard for you taking time off from work just to keep an appointment that they themselves scheduled

I will pass 3 other hospitals to come to this one. The staff in Surgical ICU was so amazing . The best care for my aunt I have ever experienced!!!!! Thank you HEROS!!!!
