Todd A Dorfman's Online Review Report Card

I was scheduled to see the doctor instead a very rude child nurse practitioner was sent into me. I was told the doctor was coming in. I called today to reschedule because no one will schedule me unless my PCP refers me and was told they would call me back to schedule. That was 8 hrs ago with no call back. I called back to see why no call back and was told the person left early. Nobody and I mean nobody likes to be disregarded when they are afraid because of health issues. This doctor and centennial heart are horrible.

Was assigned to Dr. Dorfman. Had high blood pressure problems. Was given medications. None worked. He continued medication although not working. Blood pressure matters became serious with reading in the lower 200s. He became frustrated and assigned me to a Physician Assistant. She could not help either. Was told to keep trying medication. Had to leave him and seek solution elsewhere which I did with great success. Taken off the medication Dr. Dorfman prescribed as dangerous. When you have serious blood pressure issued seek others.

Todd Dorfman is the most arrogant non compassionate physician ever! He told me and my husband I wasn't sick! If it wasn't another Dr whom by the way put my defibrillator in I wouldn't be here! Thank god for VANDERBILT HEART! !! I CANNOT STAND DR TODD DORFMAN

Great Dr talk to you about everything don't sugar coat nothing just tells you straight and explain so you understand being my dr for last 5 yes and i am very pleased with him would not change to another heart Dr cause he's best one I've had in 20 yes so I suggests him to anyone that is looking for a great one in his profession you can take it from me cause my whole family has heart problems and i don't trust just anyone. I encountered Dr. Dorfman while an in patient at the hospital seven years ago for a non-cardiac issue. As fortune would have it, while in the hospital, I went in to an arrhythmia and Dr. Dorfman came to assist me. Subsequently, I have seen Dr. Dorfman for testing and follow-up. Dr. Dorfman has performed two stenting procedures for me and helped manage my hypertension and arrhythmia. Dr. Dorfman is knowledgeable and explains things well. Dr. Dorfman understands how my other medical situations impact my heart health and explains that to me. I feel at peace with him. I will let no other cardiologist work with me. Dr. Dorfman also takes time to get to know my family and answer their questions. I moved from the Hermitage area four years ago but I still travel back to Hermitage to see Dr. Dorfman. My heart health concerns me and often stresses me but Dr. Dorfman has a way of calming me down and relaxing me. Highly Recommended. -Paul Adams, Gallatin, TN

Dr. Dorfman is very thorough and professional. He and his staff are very caring!

Extremely disappointed in this doctor. Very unprofessional attitude and behavior towards patient and family. Without even seeing patient, refused treatment and instead started berating family. Turned very condescending when questioned about medical opinion.

First appointment with Dr. Dorfman. Found him and his staff to be professional, competent, informative, efficient and friendly. Could not have asked for a better experience.

VERY knowledgeable doctor and staff. They took the needed time to answer questions and the entire visit was quite efficient and respectful of my time. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Dorfman and the practice overall.

Great doctor with extensive understanding of my issues. Takes the time to explain alternatives. He's been my cardiologist since I moved to Nashville in 2016 and I'm very happy with him.
