Dr. Tommy Wood saved my 98 year old Dad! After trying 3 lung specialists with no help what so ever, we tried Dr. Wood. He was meticulous and took the time to come up with a complex formula for saving his lungs, which were swelling out of control similar to COPD. We were told that his condition was incurable, but Dr. Wood had him back to normal and in great health after 60 days. Our family would just like to say THANKS and we so very much appreciate all of the help he gave us.

Dr. Wood sent me for a biopsy after seeing a spot on a CT scan. The radiologist who did the biopsy failed to get a useful sample so Dr Wood wanted me to do another test. When I told him I wanted to see a radiologist at a different place he walked out and I never saw him again. Some lady handed me a sheet with phone numbers for the other place and told me to leave. Seems like a scam to do extra expensive tests within their facility to drive up the bill. Once I opted out of their network they were done with me. Totally unprofessional.

I wish I had never met Dr. Tom Wood. His treatment of my elderly mother was a disgrace. TriStar Summit Hospital should not allow this man to have contact with senior citizens. They will be hearing more from me privately later. For now, though, I wish to warn people to stay away from this man.

Dr. Wood is the type of doctor all should be. He made me feel like I was the only patient he had . A great listener and very professional. When I left, I knew I was in great hands and had every confidence in him.

Wait time was reasonable, Dr. Woods spent reasonable amount of time explaining and answering questions. Showed us the xray he had taken and let us physically see what he was talking about which was really good because most doc's want do that, it give us a better understanding of the condition to physically see it on xray, Yes I would recommended Dr. Woods to other patients.
