Dr. Baucom has been my PCP for almost 30 years. He remembers my family, he understands the challenges I face physically and he always makes time to see how I am. I have never had any problem scheduling an appointment. It is a very good sign when a Dr. cannot handle more patients.

Have been going to this place for years and still here today. Kind man and very understanding.

Dr. Baucom was my primary care doctor for 15 years. I recently called to make an appointment and was told that since I hadn’t been to see him since late 2014 (because I've been relatively healthy) that I was going to be considered a new patient and Dr. Baucom no longer accepts new patients. I made the request for my medical records and still have not received them. Extremely disappointed. Extremely poor policy and poor customer service in general.

Dr Baucom has been my primary care doctor for 30 years. He is attentive and takes his time with me when I go in for an appointment. I feel he truly cares about my well being.

Very personable, easy to talk to. I have been a patient for over 30 years and have very few frustrations with office staff as they have grown and have only gotten larger through the years.

I've recommended Dr. Baucom several times. He's a caring and competent doctor, answers all of my questions, and also asks questions if I have a health complaint of some type, to get to the bottom of it. I haven't ever needed an urgent appointment, so I couldn't answer that one. I hope that doesn't take down the score? I can recommend Dr. Baucom, without reservation!

FOLLOWS UP ON TREATMENT

You get good health care. The doctors are no nonsense, come in, do their thing and leave. Their bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. The best experience I had in the twenty plus years going there was with the nurse practitioner Sarah. She had empathy, understanding, and took the time to listen and actually hear what you have to say and take the time to work out a plan with you. The office staff leaves allot to be desired, their customer service is poor. All but one lady in the front office are rude and do not take privacy to heart. I find it appalling that a doctor's office will dismiss someone that has been going to them for over twenty years because they fell on hard times and had to pay a bill late. There is no appreciation for loyalty at this office. It is a shame that a doctor's office has gotten so big, they have lost the meaning of bedside manner, and the patient's health comes first and foremost.

I grew up seeing Dr. Baucom but have to go elsewhere since my insurance changed. Only downside was the wait times I always had. BUT I soon learned that it's because he will sit and listen to what you have to say so his appointments tend to back up. The staff up there is always very nice. The only draw back I'd say is that he is in a large practice so it's hard to call up and get right thru to someone.
