David Adams's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Adams is an excellent physician. My wife and I have been patients of his for over 2 years since moving here from the Chicago area. The specialist physicians that he has referred us to have all been excellent doctors. Dr. Adams detected a heart murmur during an annual exam and referred me to The Chattanooga Heart Institute for further testing. A Mitral valve problem was detected and I underwent successful heart valve surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Adams to anyone in need of a thorough, caring physician.

It was a real joy to meet Dr. Adams and his nurse this morning. Very friendly and professional. My PCP retired so I needed a new dr. I would recommend Dr. Adams to eveyone.

Send me a letter telling me that he's no longer going to accept me as a patient because I've missed three appointments. Zero phone calls, text messages, emails, etc. Were made by his business to me to remind me of any appointments, granted these appointments were made almost a year in advance. It's easy to forget. The only time I ever met this doctor was in my initial checkup. He had two questions for me. One of them and was politically affiliated. It's probably best that he sent me this letter as I should have seen his reviews beforehand

Dr. Adams is very thorough. Dr Adams is a good Doctor. 😊

Dr. Adams has listened to my concerns and took care of any issues. I know several people who use him and I recommend him to everyone who is looking for a new doctor. I was very wary of of finding a new primary care doctor and so thankful for him.

Worst doctors office. I have left two messages for my doctors nurse to call me back and still haven’t heard back from her. There is no voicemail for nurses so you have to leave a message with the office staff. Also when you call in you are put into a queue and have to wait and wait to even talk to someone. Very very disappointed to be a new patient and have this experience. I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone.

Do not trust this doctor with your health or private information. He makes classless jokes, sees you in a room without a nurse,is extremely unprofessional, lacks a decent bedside manner, and demanded a vast array of tests to be performed on me after establishing me as a patient. Needless to say, I left that practice within three months because his inability to provide decent and ethical care, and that care that he did begrudgingly provide was inadequate to say the least. I hope that the medical board takes some of these reviews very seriously. He is a danger.

My grandfather became a patient of this doctor after his general practioner retired. He gave my grandfather an inhaler for weezing thinking he had bronchitis when in reality he had fluid building up in his body and lungs which was making him weak and having a hard breathing. My grandads heart doctor put him in the hospital after dr. Adams sent him home with a clean bill of health. Someone like dr. Adams shouldn't be trusted with someone's health when he makes mistakes like this!

Similar to some of the other reviews I did not have good experiences with this doctor, he didn't seem to take any of my concerns seriously and kind of just laughed off what I said, he was staring at my chest the last visit I had with him and I felt very uncomfortable, assuming he may need some help in his personal life because it's reflecting on his duties as a doctor. I've never had an experience like this with a doctor I immediately switched to another more professional practice.

DON'T even consider this doctor. My doctor of 25 years passed away so I needed to find a new doctor. I went to see Adams for the first time while I was very sleep deprived, but didn't want to reschedule. The appt. was basically a nice to meet you appt. While there he asked if I wanted a mammogram and colonoscopy... I declined both tests.. He pushed the issue and I declined both tests unequivocally. He was very smug at that point. (I was sleep deprived - not asleep) He also ordered blood work which I agreed to. A few days later I'm getting multiple calls from the mammogram place to set an appointment for the mammogram he ordered. AND, I received a package in the mail that contained another test that need to be sent to their lab. I had to take that test to UPS to send it back and that was annoying. He had NO respect for my point of view on MY medical care. I believe those tests would've never been ordered had I been a man. HE HAS NO RESPECT!!! I could go on, but if you don't understand with this amount of information then there's no point to go any further. Do better Galen. RIP Dr. Brooksbank!!
