Love this doctor. He removed all my cancer... He is caring, as is his staff. I have had 3 seperate surgeries and trust him with my life.

Had an Emergency Appendectomy in June 2022. Dr. Lovette was wonderful!!! The follow up from his office has also been wonderful!

I very, very highly recommend James Lovett, MD, a Las Vegas board certified general surgeon. He recently performed my hernia surgery, a robot-assisted, laparoscopic hernia repair. First, he came very highly recommended by my own brother, an anesthesiologist, who had worked closely with Dr. Lovett on various surgical cases on multiple occasions, and who also had previous hernia repair surgery from him as well. He also attested to Dr. Lovett's excellent character and work ethic. So, I couldn't have had a better recommendation. When I initially saw Dr. Lovett in his office for consultation and examination, I found him very relaxed, un- rushed, and appearing very healthy and very well-rested. He also exuded competence and confidence. Very impressive altogether. (Btw, I had visited two other very reputable local general surgeons for their advice and opinions.) The surgery with Dr. Lovett went very smoothly. I had no real post-operative pain, but instead some moderate stiffness and soreness that responded beautifully to just 10 Tylenol tablets. Four days out, I have no discomfort whatsoever, and feel about 85% fully recovered. I expect to play tennis in reasonably short order.

Very good doctor Will talk to you and listen to your needs . Will call you with test results. A very good office visit make you very comfortable in the office and surgery. The best doctor I have seen and a long time. Will recommend to family and friends. Thank you and your staff for the great care .

Dr Lovette explains procedures in a way that is eadily understood and in a way that eases your mind. I was very comfortable with him operating on my loved one. His concern for patient comfort after surgery is noteworthy. Dr. Lovette is very considerate of the fears and concerns of family members as well. A very caring individual who is very easy to speak to both before and after surgery. If I ever need a surgical procedure he will be the surgeon I choose.

Worst surgeon in Las Vegas - hernia that he has done 3 times now yesterday was #3 sent home with ibuprofenFor pain called first thing this am because it wasn't helping and the nurse said she would call me back finally called back about 3 and she said Dr Lovett said pain is to be expected WTF the withholding of pain medicine after surgery is because of patients getting addicted to it am I going to get addicted for using it over A couple of days to get past the expected painShame on you Dr Lovett

Dr. Lovett is amazing! My father was suffering from a hernia with a strangled bowel. We brought him to the ER where the ER Doctor promptly dismissed him with pain medication and sent him home. A few hours later we were back at the ER where a different doctor sent his cat scan to Dr. Lovett and of course he immediately found the problem. He was wonderful with my father and our family. Always patient, always returned our phone calls, answered all of our questions in detail, took his time and came to see my dad every day for the 13 days he was in the hospital. He saved my dads life and I could not be more thankful to him and the nursing staff at Memorial Hixson.

Dr. Lovette was thorough in his investigation and explanation of the problem I was having and possible solutions available. He was at ease and that put me at ease. He listened carefully and responded appropriately. He gave me all the time I needed to feel secure and comfortable with Dr. Lovette himself and with the information imparted. He was excellent in manner and knowledge. I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

This is a great man and doctor who saved my life.

Dr Lovette performed an emergency laparotomy July 2020. I didn't have much time to think about it I was in so much pain. He did make me feel comfortable and secure under his care. The morning after surgery he visited me and discussed the procedure and recovery. I spent 6 days in the hospital and he or Dr Parkhurst were there every day. He has amazing bedside manner and very informative. I now am scheduled for hernia repair, which I'm sure is due to my previous surgery, and he will perform this one as well. I'm super nervous but I have confidence in good care!!
