His surgery made my condition worse and has caused me years of suffering. I’m sorry I went to him. I suggest go to a different surgeon

Dr Kennedy has slick social marketing, and being naive at the time I thought he would be highly skilled and caring. My surgery was a failure and made my condition worse. He rushed me into the unnecessary surgery & I now realize he seems monetarily oriented, rather than humble & patient oriented. After I was much worse after my surgery his P.A. acted as though it was odd that I expected improvement. I think Dr K is more careful how he treats the rich and famous, but if you are an ordinary person stay away, or get a second AND third opinion.

He has done well for some Celebrities and no doubt gave Them care & attention. As an ordinary person my surgery had a very poor outcome. Also no one followed up with me for years, despite there supposedly being a follow-up procedure in place. Also he told me in order to recommend surgery, non-surgical treatments must first be tried. So he sent me for 2 PT sessions & 1 laser therapy. In retrospect I realize the right thing would have been to try non-surgical approaches for months, not one week! The fee-for-service model followed by this medical group encourages surgery for profit, not the good of the patient. I recommend any hospital that no longer uses a fee for service approach, and instead gives Doctors bonuses based on good Patient outcomes. I believe that would have helped me get good care instead of the poor care I received

My big toe was hurting for a very long time. Kennedy did an MRI same day and found the bone spurs on the top of my big toe joint. We did nano surgery 2 days after, where he shaved the bone spurs and injected PRP. I was walking same day. Couldn't be happier. Cutting edge technology. Nothing like my horrible experience with the chief of foot surgery at hospital for special surgery. They should call it hospital for arrogant surgeons.

I had foot pain for many years. Tried orthotics and pt for many years. Nothing worked. He diagnosed me on the first visit. I had reconstructive surgery 8 months ago and now I'm back running pain free. Best doctors experience ever.

I have been Dr. Kennedy's patient since 2012. After a skiing accident 18 years ago that led to sever arthritis in my ankle joint, seven orthopedic surgeons told me I need to fuse my ankle joint, an option I refused with all my heart. Then I came across Dr. Kennedy on the internet and paid him a visit. What a day when explained that I have a chance to undergo a procedure to replace the cartilage I have lost with new cartilage from my knee and therefore maintain motion in my joint. My wife and I couldn't believe it. He explained the whole procedure in great detail and we went ahead. I am 7 years out now and Im back to skiing and running. After the horror of thinking I will have my ankle fused, Dr. Kennedy was a godsend. Thank you from all my heart Dr. Kennedy. You really gave me my life back.

This doctor only cares about money. I had an awful experience with him, where I was charged tons of non covered costs. He runs a business, and doesn’t have the best interests of his patients in mind. John was so eager to have me do a procedure called PRP. It costs nearly 4K, and again is not covered. I later found out dr Kennedy is seeing a woman who’s a very well respected PRP researcher, any coincidence? I got two additional second opinions and both suggested Kennedy’s intentions were as I suspected. Each doctor noted they had heard of Kennedy’s behavior. The first time I met John, I was blown away. Charismatic, wise, thoughtful. I was a little jaded by my 10 minute $500 visit, but got over it. The more I went back, the more I learned this man is a fraud. Please do not go to him.

One of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. Spends quality time explaining your prognosis and does not push unnecessary treatment. Treated my child For a broken ankle and we couldn't be happier with the treatment. Office is clean and staff is friendly. They have the latest technology available in the office as well. Highly recommended.
