Dr Carlton is amazing
Upon my first visit with her, she was very nice and friendly. She referred me to ADD testing, which they use this weird male sex counselor and the place is so outdated, you feel like you time hopped to the 1960s. I spent so much wasted time and made numerous appointments with this male, only to come back and her to refuse to treat me and label me without even knowing me. Just believing what this male counterpart presented to her. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Most definitely has a bias to young people! Please save your time and avoid her at all costs. Dr. Phillips in this practice is so much more caring and professional!
Every once in a while, we meet someone who is exceptional at what they do. Such is the case with Dr. Carlton. She is ‘no-nonsense’, direct and to the point, but most importantly, she gives good advice and sound medical counsel which, if followed, leads to a better, healthier ‘you’. Do not expect any sympathy when you have a follow-up visit with the same ailment without making an attempt to follow her guidance. She is the ultimate professional who expects a lot from folks around her and, believe it or not - from her patients, too. I have nothing but respect for Dr. Carlton and am so grateful to her for helping me become a healthier person.
Dr Carleton abruptAnd abrasive tone. Very impolite unprofessional attitude. When I requested a different doctor Carlton sent me a 30 day letter terminating me from the practice. In my opinion this was in retribution and retaliation for me requesting a male doctor at the practice. My advice is to stay away from this practice entirely and in particular Dr Carleton. On a positive note The first doctor I was assigned by this practice abruptly disappeared with no explanation. His services were excellent and we had no problem at all until Dr Joseph Cihlar left the practice.
Dr. Carlton was extremely insensitive and did not allow me time to explain my symptoms before cutting me off. She said very rude and passive aggressive things to me throughout the visit. It felt like paying a good sum of money to someone that just degraded me. If you are a young person, especially while in college, I would not advise visiting this doctor since she seemed to have a bias. I have never been treated so poorly by a health care provider.
First visit and my last. Rude, nasty tone of voice, very unprofessional and not only needs a class in bedside manner, but very dismissive of both me and my husband. More concerned with “being behind” rather than caring for 2 new patients. Uncooperative in answering questions. Didn’t have the time.
I have had several instances where Dr K Carlton was less than helpful. I found that she would not listen to my symptoms - she seems to have a set of questions she wants answered and does not care to hear anything else. Most recently I went in for fevers of 101.5 that had been reoccurring for approximately 3 months. Due to COVID protocols I had to get a covid test before going in. I tested negative. ...
I just called this office as a new patient trying 2 make an appointment. Most unprofessional people. The older lady who answered the phone seemed annoyed I was calling.she was huffing and puffing and smacking her lips...disinterested in the phone call and seemed 2 not care at all. I was asked if I had any medical conditions.I began to list them and she had no idea how 2 spell any of them .She continuously interrupted me.She didnt let me tell her all my medical conditions and she decided I was done talking....i felt mistreated and will NOT go here.I DONT SUGGEST GOING HERE.if this is the professional manner in which they treat you over the phone there is no telling if they will care for you as a patient at all or even try 2 help you. Places like this just care about the $....not YOU.
I love Dr Carlton she is great
Very pleased with Dr Carlton. She is knowledgeable and caring. She is also very good about following up whenever there is an issue. The wait time can be long, however, as she tends to fall behind late in the day. Only reason for deducting a star is her nurse who is indifferent on her best day and downright nasty on every other day.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
