Dr. Matthews is great at what he does. He took the time to explain things in detail and answer any questions i had. He is very conservative with the treatment i recieved instead of jumping into surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Matthews to any of my family and friends.

Dr. Matthews is great. He is the best at what he does. If you need anything done for shoulders or knees I would go to him.

Dr Matthews is very knowledgable and his bedside manner is ok. I am very pleased so far. Son had to have shoulder surgery.

Has horrible bedside manner.Treats you like you are ignorant .Very egotistical.Drs recommend him because he is the best at what he does,if you can overcome his attitude.Thinks that he owns Memorial hospital.Also breaks hipaa laws,so if there is something embarassing in your past medical history DO NOT TELL THIS MAN!!He will tell others.His staff walks on eggshells.Perfectionist,but treats you as if you are unworthy of his presence.Treated me and my family horribly.Likes to be difficult on purpose.He wants you to use the physical therapy that is located next door to him because he owns it, if you don't:well,he's pretty much is done with you and doesn't care what happens thereafter.Several other physicians told me to not use him because he is an @ss,but if i could overlook that then he's the best.Relative had knee replacement surgery and his protocol is you only get 40 painkillers to do you no refills because after that he says tylenol.that's all you'll get ever from him. sad little man
