It’s been 3 years for me since I went and let me tell you it was what changed my life My counselor helped me understand my brains way of thinking I learned how to deal with the emotional trauma I’m so thankful This was the ONLY place that worked for me No rehab is going to work if you aren’t ready Clean facility Allows cigarettes which is huge most doesn’t I’m friends with 6 other girls who had different counselors that where there that are sober to this day All of the counselors was friendly and you could relate to them The food was good Vending machines are available If you take anything from this THE COUNSELORS HELPED SAVE MY LIFE

This is the biggest Joke of a place Do not go to this place or send your loved ones here I tried for over a week to get my brother into a facility and they promised a bed for him today in detox after going back and forth all week just for my parents to drive him 3.5 hrs for nothing They weren’t going to medically detox him but throw him in a halfway house with a prescription for suboxone that he would have to get from the pharmacy himself and administer himself Also the staff acts like they have no clue what is going on there. Everything about this place is so misleading They do not care and the staff with an exception of a few are very cold and heartless but God forbid you get to speak with the ones who do care or know what they’re talking about when you call back. I wouldn’t even give this place half a star 😡

I had a close family member stay here and the way they treated her was absolutely disgusting. The staff is incompetent underqualified and apathetic.

If I didnt have to give at least one star to leave a review I wouldnt. Im currently on day 2 of begging for someone to just get a message to my husband to call me because he has lost the only family member he has left. Ive begged and pleaded with these ppl and unfortunately they arent the counselor so they have no access to the patients at all. Idk what kinda place this especially with this being his 2nd time at it. Its definitely not a place to actually help the addicts but a get outa jail free card in my opinion.

I took a family member here. Taking him there I felt good about the fact that he was going to a state recommended facility. Though he did have and still has a lot of problems I would never recommend this program. I spoke with the director and the state about the situation. I didnt post here to begin with because I was so upset about the things that were going on negative employee attitude poor communication with family members etherapy not suited for psychiatric health issues unhealthy meals drugs on the inside and lack of facility cleanliness. I was assured it was going to improve. Unless you are court ordered to go here check it out and ask a lot of questions first.

Buffalo Valley saved my life

By far the best program Ive experienced inpatient Not a luxury facility but the program was the best in this state

I love what Buffal Valley has done for me and others who wanted a better life if we came willing and got honest wanting what they had to offer we did all we could we did things we hadnt done before Ill never deny the love I felt there from staff and the entire Hohenwald community. We Do Recover

I was there on a 30 day in patient treatment which I spent 34 days this is a wonderful place I come home drug free and have been a recovering addict for a year and 5 months now there program really works

Ive never been to this place but I would definitely love to check it out if I can go for detox only and hopefully get a grant to cover it because Im completely broke and Im doing this on my own so wish me luck. Also good luck to all the other addicts out there trying to overcome this addiction only God knows and you know yourself what addiction truly is.
