Dr. Porter is amazing! Only gyno I have ever had! I'm so sad to see he is retiring!

He recently collected a laproscopic surgery on me and was incredibly helpful and informative! He really cares about his patients and the nurses are all super friendly. I would still be in pain if it weren't for his help and I appreciate everything he has done for me. I highly recommend him to anyone!!!

The office got me in within 3 when I called in and asked for the soonest appointment possible. The staff was was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Porter is amazing. I have been to 3 doctors previously with terrible experiences, and Dr. Porter was more help and understanding than I thought even possible. He is proactive about my issues and I feel that he genuinely cares. I would definitely recommend him.

I don't know what has happened with Dr. Porters office but it is TERRIBLE! The once friendly staff is so rude and disrespectful. When one nurse took me back to my room she had her cell phone on loud and was receiving text messages while trying to speak to me. I had a miscarriage and Dr. Porter and his staff made it even more awful than it already was. I will never refer him or his office to anybody!! Dr. Porter is all about statistics and NOT about you. I think its just time for him to retire completely, if he thinks treating his patients in this manner is acceptable. Oh and good luck getting the nurses to return any of your phone calls!!Awful, AWFUL experience!!

Staff is very rude!!! One lady at the front desk wouldn't even look up and acknowledge me standing there to check in because she was texting on her phone.

Dr. Porter is TERRIBLE. I had ears so many great things about this doctor so when my husband and I were expecting our first child I immediately called him. My husband and I both went to our first apt and it was awful. I had a physical exam done during which he answered a personal phone call while in the middle of the exam. Not to mention, before all this he lectured and ****ed on and on about how my husband ad I are too young for children and not ready (the last thing anyone wants to hear during their pregnancy) and not to mention that hubby and I had been married for 5 years and I was 24 and hubby was 28! He is very rude and arrogant, he made fun of me because I had too many questions and then proceeded to make fun of me again because I was sobbing, he threw a box of tissues at me and told me to "get it together". He is HORRIBLE and made my pregnancy, at the beginning, VERY STRESSFUL and HARD. Until I found another OB/GYN. I would NEVER recommend this doctor he is cruel.

Dr. Porter is awesome. He has been my doctor for 16 years and has always been great. Couldn't ask for a better dr.

I chose Dr Porter through a reference and I am so glad I met him. He is very funny and down to earth. He was always nice but to the point and honest. He was supportive when I told him I didn't want to induce unless medically necessary and my water broke on its own 3 days after my due date. He was very patient and helpful during labor. I will use him again on my next pregnancy.

I cannot even go in to how grateful I am that Dr. Porter is my doctor. He has come to the ER to see me when on vacation and someone else was on call. He worked and researched and got me through two very difficult pregnancies. He is awesome. He does have an interesting sense of humor but I always feel like he truly cares about me. I would not go anywhere else ever. I too call for lots of things and always get a response. His wait time can be long but it's because he's at the hospital delivering a baby. If that was me at the hospital I'd want him there too. His staff is very good to let you know that when you check in. His nurses and office staff are great!
