List of Daniel Kayal's Reviews
Upper and lower endoscopy went well, very clean and relaxed environment. Explanation of what was encountered well documented. Follow up on biopsy and explanation of treatment along with side effects of medication was not very well executed. Could be better Dr- patient communication.
I had a great experience with Doctor Kayal and would recommend him to anyone. I’ve been reading other reviews and it doesn’t even sound like the same Doctor. I’ve been 6 times and was impressed each time by him and his staff! 3 procedures and 3 follow up visits!
He is very thorough and has very good bedside manner. He has helped me tremendously.
Listened very well. Explained everything to me. Made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend him.
Dr Kayal listens well and communication is great. Staff is great too.
Dr Kayal hes no compassion what so ever.
This is for Kelly the NP that seen me. She was very rude. She also told me my X ray showed that I bowel obstruction. I freaked out and went straight to Transouth and they showed me my X ray and reassured me everything was o.k.
Um my dad is a good dad so 5 stars
I would not normally express my dissatisfaction with a doctor, however, Dr. Kayal lacked the appropriate bedside manner and professionalism within his specialty. I work in the medical field too and know that bedside manner, passion for what you do, putting the patient first as well as many other things is what is needed from a doctor. I had one upper endoscopy done from Dr. Kayal, yes I was very frustrated with what was going on with me that I started to lose weight to. But instead of going further to try to find out what was causing a 21 year old at the time (had a birthday since) to regurgitate after every meal and liquid clearly there is an issue going on. The upper endoscopy showed unspecified disease of the stomach and duodenum and I was put on 2 more stomach medications to make it a total of 4 YES 4 at 21! He did not have a plan of care besides to take 4 stomach medications, no follow ups, no further testing, and no real diagnosis. Well I sought out another Gastroenterologist that I had to drive over 2 hours to spend 30 minutes in his office, that doctor LISTENED, UNDERSTOOD, CARED, AND SOUGHT FOR AN ANSWER. I had 2 additional tests done: the barium swallow which showed significant acid and bile reflux with regurgitation but nothing anatomacially wrong with the amount of reflux I was told there is an underlying cause and he was going to find out what was causing and wasnt stopping there it so another test was ordered a gastric emptying study. I now have a diagnosis of gastroparesis thanks to my new gastroenterologist. I hope that Dr. Kayal or his nurses reads this and improves for the sake of his patients, not himself, bc the patient is the one we work in the medical field to help or make a difference not for the money or some title.Thank you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
