This doctor reviewed the treatment request of my doctor for an injury which happened at work. He didn't even see me. He denied my treating physician's treatment recommendation. He is more interested in the insurance companies' well being that the patient's well being. The new worker's comp laws are totally against the injured workers and doctors that behave this way may be doing more harm to the patient. I just want to get better in order to return to work and have my life back.

This doctor reviewed my case for Worker's Compensation without ever seeing me. He denied my treating physician's recommendation for surgery with limited information at best and I believe him to be nothing more than a rubber stamp for the insurance company. The new worker's comp laws are totally against the employee and doctors that behave this way may be doing more harm to the patient by prolonging their agony. In my case a ruptured disc in my lower back. The harm being the possibility of arthritis setting in to the effected area and it has been a year and a half since my injury. I just want some relief of pain and to get back to work!
