Had hernia surgery in May 2022. Dr. Broussard was great. The surgery was easy and recovery was also easy. The staff at the Jackson clinic were nice and considerate. The Jackson General surgery center was awesome and the staff were very professional!

We were very pleased with Dr. Broussard. He explained the surgery and the steps before and after surgery. His manner was calming and caring. We are very happy with the results and recommend him highly.

Dr Broussard is an amazing doctor I could not have ask for a better surgeon he showed so much concern about me before and after surgery and by the way he did my emergency surgery at 10:00 @ night .He is the best!!!!

A great experience with Dr Broussard last year. I am writing this on behalf of my husband, Marcus Foster. Dr. Broussard performed a very dangerous surgery on him last year. The doctor was so kind and professional and made what could have been a tragic experience, a positive one. He, with God's Help, brought my 79 year old husband through this surgery with flying colors. We will always be grateful to him. Would not want anyone but him to perform vascular surgery on any of our family.

Dr. Broussard told me every step for my surgery and healing procedure. He is very easy to talk to and listens. I would highly recommend him. Only thing is he's so good, it takes a long time to get an appointment.

Dr. Broussard did a pseudocyst to bowel surgery on me. He explained what my surgery would involve and the healing procedure in detail. He asked questions and listened well. He is a wonderful doctor and I would highly recommend him. His nurse, Sheila, is also wonderful.

Dr. Heath Brossard is a gentle, easy going, caring, easy to talk to, Surgeon who I would absolutely recommend to anyone needing a surgeon. He takes the time to talk to you and doesn't rush you out. AND very easy on the eyes. (that's from a 74 yr. old lady) HA

Dr. Broussard has performed 2 surgeries on me and a major surgery on my wife. I can't write enough good things about him. Nurses tell me that "some" of a patient's pain is due to how "rough" the surgeon or the surgery is. The more he/she has to "pull" on a tissue, the more pain that is involved. If that's the case, I'm not certain he even touched us. My wife had part of her colon removed. She used the morphine pump a few times in the hospital and took 2-3 pain pills once she got home. Otherwise, she really didn't have much pain. (That's when a nurse told me that he is a "gentle" surgeon.) One of my hernias didn't hurt much at all. The second one hurt somewhat, but he had to put mesh in me to keep me from having more - I had already had 4 umbilical hernias. But, the pain was still not excessive. He has a great bedside manner and is open to questions. When you're with him, he's thinking about YOU and not another patient. I highly recommend him for your surgery.
