Great place for your medical needs
It Happens – Jul 13, 2022 Dr James Payne did not “hear” what patient repeated for months …until he heard, “I’m dying.” He was tolerated as my PCP for 8-9 years. Until, after months of continual visits to his office (with what began as a sinus infection), I ended up in JMCGH with double pneumonia/sepsis/stroke. Then Vanderbilt LifeFlight for ventilator x6 days/ARDS with related pulmonary fibrosis/years of therapies, and a lifetime of decreased lung function/tests/infections. All this because of Dr Payne’s FAILURE TO HEAR/LISTEN to the patient- for months - c/o increasing SOB, cough, fever. He did not pick up his stethoscope or pulse oximeter until last office visit when I stated, “I’m dying”. That visit ended with all the above, (my life was saved by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt) Never heard a word from him, but he knows this is fact.
The wait has been up to 2 hours for my husband & myself. Receptionist do not know their jobs , billing not insurance personnel . It has been ridiculous getting nurses to call you back for lab results , refills etc …..
I visited this clinic in late August, I was in the area due to evacuation from hurricane Ida. I waited for over 3 hours, then saw the doctor and I had a broken bone in my ankle. I have excellent insurance, BCBS through my employer. Over a month later I am receiving bills from this place, both in mail and text. I called them yesterday and waited in a queue to speak to the billing department. The invoice I received said that I owed $25. Once the person answered the phone she doubled the amount I owed to $50. They do not apply the copay made when service was rendered, that is simply extra payment to them, perhaps. I just received a text from them today stating that I owe more money. I strongly suspect that this place is scamming people, they take the insurance pay out and then start hounding you in every way possible to pay additional money. The person that I spoke with the billing department was both rude and antagonistic ,I guess you are not allowed to even inquire about why they are billing you, you are suppose to pay what ever they tell you, when they tell you and how much they tell you and keep your mouth shut. I have never seen anything like this place, aggressively extracting money from people by all means possible.
I’ve visited this location twice now. I feel it’s a very organized place. And I appreciate the online check-in, in advance of my visit. I see Dr. Ahmed who is a fantastic person and doctor. Her nurse is also very kind and considerate. The reception staff and the Lab staff are also very professional and friendly.
The doctors are nice so Is the service . But the billing department is useless. If you are not careful you can end up paying for services you didn’t get.
Love my doctor's there.
Dr. Honeycutt requires an in person visit at his office for my 95 year old WWII veteran bedridden father-in-law before he will order hospice care. We have a nurse practitioner coming to the home so Dr. Honeycutt can shove his orders up his
Went multiple times and paid $273.99 out of pocket (my yearly deductible is $250.00). I receive a bill and realize they weren't running my secondary insurance. I called their billing department and explained the mix-up. The lady said "I'll take care of it." Next thing I know, I am receiving a subpeona being sued for $209.18. Their billing department is completely useless!
Not professional, incorrect billing, bad customer service, not sufficient trained personnel. if you have to stop by, check your insurance VERY careful before step in or ending up with $75-100 EXTRA charged. I have multiple issues with this clinic including billing issues, incorrect guidance/information from staff, rude staff answering phone and blocking my numbers. I have no comment on the doctors/practitioners' skills because I see them as normal/average without anything outstanding enough to overcome the unprofessional from the other staffs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
