Sick for several weeks finally went to the hospital. Spent 9 days in the hospital, misdiagnosed and ignored most of the time. Running a fever the entire time. Finally decided I wanted to go home and they quickly sent a team with a patient advocate. Part of that team was Dr. Appleton. Was seen by Dr. Appleton while in Jackson Madison County Hospital. She jumped the gun and went against her colleague’s orders by cancelling tests, iv meds, etc. Would not take any recent medical history in consideration. Dr. Rainey is, and will be staying, my doctor with infectious disease.
