Dr. Rheney has been my dr. for 26 yrs. Delivered 2 of my now grown children. Her knowledge is amazing and she truly cares!!

Dr. Rheney is very knowledgable, however, she is very impersonable and intolerable of people who are overweight. Myself, along with a few other patients of hers, decided to part our ways due to her being so rude and unaccepting of women who are deemed overweight/obese. She constantly made me to feel as though I was unhealthy, despite perfect blood and health tests. I was never more than 40 lbs overweight my entire time seeing her, and every time she implied that she did not want to see me as a patient until I lost the weight. I appreciate genuine concern from doctors, especially if my health would have been at risk due to my extra pounds, but hers was purely mean all while I was perfectly healthy. If you are the perfect weight, she would make a good doctor for you. She is quite intelligent with medications and diagnosis. So take everything with a grain of salt.
