List of Robert Vegors's Reviews
Seemed caring, but missed diagnoses over and over again. I used Dr. Vegors services over ten years along with other doctors in the Jackson clinic, they seemed pushed and under pressure. I have suffered much pain and financial loss over trust in his services.
Dr. Vegors is wonderful. He takes the time to talk with patients and explain whats going on with them. My husband and I both go to him.
After many years of seeing Dr. Vegors and obtaining and reviewing my medical records, I was astounded to find so many serious medical errors. What he told me and what reality was, was something I could not take any longer. Dr.Vegors falsified my records in numerous visits and when telling him after finding out he shared my records with other physicians and then me telling him I no longer wanted him to do so and it was against the Hippa Act to do so, he told me to find another physician which I had already done prior to talking with him. He tried his hardest to red flag me as a patient with the Jackson Clinic but he did not stop me from receiving good care at the clinic with other physicians there. I once respected this Dr., but after all the problems I had with his diagnosed and treatments leaving was the best option for myself. Please do not take your elderly parents to him, he is not the same compassionate physician he was 20 years ago and he does not treat them with the dignity , time and respect they deserve.
Dr. is only interested in his opinion, not interested in what is really your medical problems. He became obsessed about my having a mammogram. I informed him I would handle that with my GYN doctor, that I was there to see him as an internist, for other reasons than gynecological. He could not see past the mammogram. He is arrogant, but at the same time polite at times. Jumped to conclusions about my recent diagnosis of pancreatitis, wanting to know how long I had had a "drinking problem". I informed him that there are many other ways to get pancreatitis, and drinking was not my diagnosis and that I never had a drinking problem. Very unprofessional for a medical doctor to jump to conclusions and be accusatory. Also became irritated because he wanted to do a breast exam and get me scheduled for mammogram. When I refused, he accused me of only seeing him to get Xanax for anxiety problems caused from 2 previous strokes. I informed him I was seeing him for more important medications to keep me from having another stroke, such as blood pressure meds and Plavix, and that Xanax was also needed for extreme anxiety caused from strokes, having hallucinations, etc. Very, very unprofessional. A doctor should be there to LISTEN to the patient, and diagnose from that point. He was never told that I was concerned about breast lumps, but he became obsessed with that illness that I did not have. I go to specialist for GI problems and specialist for Stroke and lower back problems, and that I would continue to go to specialist for GYN issues, if I had them. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone, particularly a geriatric patient.
I saw him for a few years and he neglected addressing the high blood pressure issue and never sent me to a nephrologist as my numbers got extremely high. Each visit he was rude and fixated on my losing 20 pounds. Kidneys crashed and nephrologist told me he should have sent me years ago. Thanks for dialysis. If it had been caught earlier this wouldnt have happened.
Uncaring, only interested in his ideas. Unwilling to explain and work with patient.
I complained of fever but was never checked. Two days later, a urologist discovered I had a kidney infection. Contradicted himself in reference to a mailed review from previous visit. Denied what my husband and I said. We had the letter with us. He abruptly left for several minutes. Returned saying it was all a mistake.(???) Was sitting with list of questions on my lap and was told if I had questions, I needed to *write* them down and make another appointment. He said he had other patients to see. He was very rude and stormed out.
doctor who listens and seems to care

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
