Dr Love did an emergency appendectomy recently. Good manner and answered all questions Followed up next day early morning after surgery.

I saw Dr. Love last Tuesday (after waiting 45 minutes for him to show up - 1st visit, I had to wait 75 min- promptness is not his forte) about a recurring thyroid problem causing extreme exhaustion. I have a goiter & several nodules on the thyroid averaging 2 cm. Dr. Love stated they’re not malignant & surgery isn’t necessary even though the Mayo Clinic recommendation is surgery for any nodule over 1.5 cm. When I asked him why I am do exhausted (I can barely get out of bed in the a.m.) he shrugged. I asked him what else I could do because I can’t go on like this. He said “...drink more coffee & take a nap..!” I was so disgusted with his flippancy over a severe medical problem, I didn’t ask anything else & just left - fuming with his lack of interest in treating my thyroid problems. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!! Fortunately, he’s leaving Jackson to TEACH DOCTORS IN ETHIOPIA! Hopefully, he’ll be a better teacher than he is a doctor.
