List of West Tennessee Healthcare's Reviews
I really hoped the nurse improved since 2017 plus the technical people. Bedside mangers is a plus, people can't fake seizures & don't want your pity.
My son and I were in a car accident. After the ambulance left my son and I were experiencing a headache so we went to the North Hospital. We sat 4 hours without ever seeing a doctor. I was told there was only 1 doctor on site and the emergency room filled quickly so we left after 4 hours.
Brought my husband in with a head injury. Been here four hours. Still waiting. Sitting in waiting room listening to them talk to a lady about her injuries. HELLO HIPPA VIOLATION!!!!!! This is insane!!!! First and last time here.
Went in for broken toe, had to wait 2-1/2 hours to get an X-ray. 3 hours later and still waiting to see doctor and there are only four people in waiting room. Very disappointed in the service here. What if it had been a more serious injury. Not sure they are staffed appropriately.
If I could give a zero I would. Don't. Just don't. Go to the main hospital and wait. Your chances of treatment are better. This location literally kicked me out of the ER as a patient 2 years ago. I had fallen, hit my head and was unconscious for over 20 minutes. I drove myself to the ER. I don't know where the nurse and doctor were trained, but I was extremely concerned about the fall (it was my 3rd fall hitting my head in less than a week) and I was scared. I wanted to know why I was falling. Instead, I was treated with contempt and disrespect and told to leave or be arrestedLater learned from another doctor that this type of "arrest threat" is normal at his hospital (in another city). It's a way of getting rid a a patient you don't want to deal with due to complexities or just not feeling like taking the time to order and get proper scans approved. I'll NEVER set foot in this location again.
Brought my son here for a busted lip after having to leave Jackson General ER because they had a psych patient freak out screaming, yelling and slamming himself into the wall. It scared my 3 year old so bad, that I chose to remove him from that situation. We were in and out of this ER is about 30 minutes. Very friendly and fast staff. Will definitely be choosing to come here from now on.
The staff was very kind. Good work! :)
Untrained nurses and the hospitalist doctors bills comes in as not in network with BCBS also some other doctors I don't even know show out of network. That is one of the things I ask when admitted if their doctors are in network and they said yes. Never again will I go there.
I've never had a bad experience with this hospital. They take care of me and my family promptly and with great attitude. They also have really great Roast and cornbread if you have to stay a bit.
I went to Tennova emergency room and I was told I was dehydrated and given about half a bag of fluid and sent home, soon after I received a bill for the physician that treated me for 2002.79 after my insurance payment. I have good insurance through Aetna and can not believe that the Hub City Emergency Physicians are changing the excessive amount of 2002.79 for some walking in the room and saying you are dehydrated, then never seeing the man again. That cost me around 667.65 a word, no doctor is worth that. They advertise no wait in there emergency room, but they fail to tell you how rude the staff their are or how poor the care is you receive. Oh yeah you can make arrangements to pay your hospital bill, pay them on time and still have your account turned over to a collection agency. All this facility cares about is the money sad isn't it. If you want quality care maybe you should try some place else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
