Dr. Townsend is great, but his office staff and nurse leave a lot to be desired. If you can get past them and the nurse's sour attitude you will love Dr Townsend. He is always pleasant and has a smile for your child.

My daughter and grandson were visiting from out of town, 6 month grandson with repeated ear infection. Daughter wanted to know if infection from precious week was gone. Were told by phone our only option was to come into office for emergicare. We went in at 3 told Dr Townsend gone for day. We'd have to see nurse practitioner. We did she said there was no redness in ears, no mention of fluid. Daughter too baby into her ENT in Charlotte yesterday. Result he still has ear infection. Incompetent.

since he has went to All about you the front desk is horrible. Here lately they have been like 80% better. Seems different workers working there now. Dr. townsend is an awesome Doctor. He was recommended to me & I would recommend him to everyone.

We were referred to Dr. Townsend by another medical professional and fully understand why...he is wonderful with children, has a thorough knowledge of pediatric medicine and general practice, doesn't prescribe medications unless deemed completely necessary. We can only hope to find another pediatrician for our family when we relocate...he is a true blessing!
