The first whole day I was there they did nothing and then the doctor came in one time and she still has not came back in.

My granddaughter took her son last night. He was coughing with a fever. He had Covid about a month ago. He is 4 and she was very worried. They never took him to triage but did other patients that came in after she got there. They took 4 patients back that came in after her. She asked the receptionist why and he said it was according to severity. They hadnt checked my grandson yet how did they know he wasnt severe Ballard Health needs to hire competent people and more staff and quit trying to hoard money. Give people the patient care they deserve.

All of the staff treated my daughter extremely well. The resident doctor Leslie Thompson was very professional and caring probably one of the best doctors Ive ever met.

I rarely take kids to er but my little boy was bad sick.i took him and no one in waiting roombut we were there 4 hours with everything.1st was wait I was fine with if they checked him out but all he did was order a strap after we waited it came back neg.he ordered covid.i asked nurse if it tested for flu also she said no .when covid came back neg.they didnt want us in there any more but never once did he check for flu.

By far the best staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with took my son in because he wouldn’t eat or drink at all without throwing it up and found out he was dehydrated but thanks to the night shift he’s doing absolutely perfect and back to normal

My son had to go to the NICU for a cpuple of days and they took excellent care of him Thanks to their specialist my son is healthy and was able to come home I could not ever thank the staff in the NICU enough

My daughter recently went to Nicewonger Children’s Hospital by ambulance after giving birth at home to her baby. Once checked into the facility she and her infant were checked out and given a room there. I was allowed in but due to Covid restrictions no one else was. And that was ok. I went to wash my hands for obvious reasons so that I could visit with my new Granddaughter and there no hand soap available in the vessel. So I asked for some. I went to the bathroom area sink and again there was no soap in the vessel there either. None available in the shower area for the Mother to bathe with either. So I again requested some soap. The Nurses told me that there was soap available in the Nurses sink. I could use theirs. Ok? So visitors and Inpatients cannot have any soap? I suppose not. The duration of my daughters stay 7 days there was no soap provided to us. I brought us soap. Some for her to bathe with as well. The newborn was provided with one travel size package of wipes. Once we had used the 8 wipes in the package I asked for some more. The nurse advised me that once those were used up we had to wipe our newborn baby’s behind with wash cloths. Very low quality cloths. Rough rags. I stated that at home we didn’t wipe with wash rags we used toilet paper. Since when could JCMC Hospital not afford our precious babies butt wipes? Are there no reps out there sponsoring the world renowned children’s hospital wipes? I’m falling on the floor at this time. So again I’m at the Walmart purchasing my loved ones essentials for their very expensive stay at Nicewonger. My daughters meals were very small once she was discharged they wouldn’t even offer her a coke while she stayed to care for her infant who had a few extra days there in the facility. The day she left housekeeping told her she had been there all of that time with no mattress on her bed. She’s been left with a birthing pad. So it had appeared that her bedding hadn’t even been addressed all of that entire time. Any mother’s out there needing urgent birthing care better pack a bag. It’s pretty slim up in JC. I think they’re poor. Too poor to house women and babies. You’re going to need to bring along your own TP baby wipes diapers and feminine pads you’ll only get 1 package of those too.

Doctor was rude Gossiped about my girlfriend to her nurse friends.

The absolute worst place to take a child with any emergency. We waited almost 5 hours to even be treated. Our daughter had a broken arm. They were understaffed and clearly not concerned. Will take our emergencies elsewhere
