Ballad Health's Online Review Report Card

Very kind and competent staff clean hospital and excellent care. After one surgery having one child there and an ER visit for stitches I’ve never had an issue. This is the only hospital in this area I will go. Ballad health overall is a nightmare but Franklin Woods maintains their own identity by treating patients respectfully and giving great care.

I am filing a medical complaint with this hospital. The incompetency of the doctors and staff is absurd. They really do not know what they are doing putting patients lives at risk.

Have been here since 11 AM with a 19399 blood pressure and COVID symptoms and chest pain.Here it is almost 3 pm and I have yet to see a doctor or be put in a room.This hospital use to be the place to go but since ballad took overthis onejcmcand sycamore shoals are the slowest emergency rooms I ever seen

Franklin Woods is an excellent hospital. Had to have a surgical procedure done here. One of my greatest fears is being put under. The RNs for my room to the surgical team especially my CRNA made me feel comfortable. I want to thank everyone for everything. Thank you so much

Literal bigots work here. The doctors were great the nurses were full of prejudice and as I woke up from anesthesia in writhing pain they told me to get ahold of myself and deal with it as if I got emergency surgery... to get pain meds. I spent my time reciting any bible verse I could remember to distract from the pain and rocking back and forth and telling the nurses I appreciated everything they did.Further on getting the paper records [which means I have paper proof] I found out the attending nurse went out of her way to lie on record and said all I asked about was pain medicine and cried whenever anyone was looking when I told her repeatedly that I needed my antiinflammatory and antidepressant medicine and that Id take my own pain medicine from a 9vertebrae fused back surgery if I was allowed to take anything orally which I wasnt. They didnt care. All they cared about and all they saw was the pain medicine. Meanwhile I found a news report that over 10% of all JC hospital nurses are actually abusing opoids. So instead of looking at me maybe they should have looked at themselves. I dont have any power to fight your prejudice but God does and he protects his children.

Got a notice from a collections agency stating I owed Franklin Woods 61 dollars. I called Franklin Woods and they confirmed I owed them 61 dollars I asked what for and the rude operator said we sent you a bill I told her I never received the bill and asked if they could send it again. She said no because they sent it once already. The reason for my skepticism is at the time my insurer was Tricare Prime prior to going to Franklin Woods I asked Tricare if there would be any out of pocket expense they said no they cover the entire visit. Its strange that they can track me owing them 61 dollars but arent willing to prove it. I recently contacted them again asking for a itemized bill still nothing.

Amazing staff at er tonight professional and in and out in 3 hours that’s blood work ct scan iv fluids and prescriptions sent to Walgreens for us. Best expierence ever at an er

Have an absese tooth that has caused major swelling on gums cheek and eye.. Have blurred vision an intense pain. Been sitting in the waiting room for 4 hours and all they have done is check my vitals an sat me back in the waiting room
