I am a professional artist so neck mobility is crucial. I received an antique armoire as a gift not realizing the drawers were unstable. As I pulled one towards me it dislodged cutting my dominant right fore arm but in an attempt not to drop the drawer on the floor somehow caused me also some detrimental neck whiplash. I have commission art works for Xmas and now find me unable to do any art work due to severe neck pain , stiffness and locking in various positions. I desperately phoned to be seen by a neck specialist which ended up being Dr Knox at 5 pm on a Friday afternoon. He prescribed a neck brace that thankfully afforded me stability and a reduction in pain. Now i am able to meet deadlines of art projects for Xmas. Thank you Dr Knox and staff accommodating me so effectively late on a Friday afternoon...the show was and is able to go on.

Dr. Knox, while not being very talkative at first, he is very professional and knowledgeable about the spine. In my case it’s the cervical spine. Having surgery soon. Will update post surgery.

The staff at Appalachian Orthopedics is great! Friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. And Dr. Knox has been my orthopedic doctor/surgeon for almost 10 years. He is nice and very knowledgeable and professional and is not the type doctor who is quick to suggest surgery. He likes to try other means first. And, he takes the time to listen to my concerns and questions. That means alot to me. Some doctors just want to “pad their pockets.” I highly recommend Appalachian Orthopedics and Dr. Benjamin Knox.

Dr.Knox helped me fix a botched surgery from a terrible surgeon that I suffered through for a year. The staff was professional and as stated I am pain free. Thank you Dr. Knox and all his staff.
